Sumit Kumar Bhui created new article Mutual Fund vs Property Investment.
To secure our future and to have our life safe and jolly we tend to have more wealth in future than now. For that investment has always been the inevitable part of our future planning. We always think to generate more money by investing our existing money.
Previously we have lots of option with us like saving deposits, recurring deposits and fixed deposits in banks, post offices etc. These traditional investments are always a low risk and give assured returns as mentioned. Nowadays people are moving from traditional ways and looking for more advanced ways to get good returns like investing in equity, stocks, mutual funds, properties.
Our today's article will throw some light on two investment options one is mutual fund investment and other is property investment.
1) Capital
For initial investment in a property, you need a huge corpus and with years passes by there is a rise in the prices of plot in all the cities and semi-urban areas of the country. If you are purchasing a property for generating revenue by leasing it or renting it. What is if you won't get any lessor or renter to rent upon. The monthly EMI will then become heavy expenses.
In a mutual fund, you never need a huge corpus to start investing. Even with Rs 500 you can easily start investing through Systematic Investment Plan. The only thing you need is investing in a disciplined manner.
2) Risk
Risk is associated with a property also. regulatory norms, timely ownership risk, litigation risk, encumbrance risk all are associated with a property. This risk has led to the ignorance of many investors to invest in property.
The risk associated with mutual funds is less compared to property. As because in a long period mutual funds with higher risks give good returns,
3) Liquidity
Liquidity means how fast you can encash your investment. In mutual funds, if you redeem, your account will be get credited within 3 working days but the same is not true with the property. As to encash your investment in the property you need a potential buyer who is also looking for the same and is interested in it. If you make a hurry or in need of urgency you want to sell you may not realize the actual value of the property and may lead to sell it in a low cost.
4) Ease of Maintenance
With growing online platform now it's easier to handle mutual funds and you can check your daily NAV but the maintenance of the property itself cost you much more.

Nipun A created new article Do aliens/ extraterrestrial life exists?.
We are in a modern world with cyber technologies discovering new planets, new space objects with our state of art high performance telescopes. We have fighter jets that are literally faster than speed of sound Our radars are capable to detect any suspicious movements in our air space and our high definition cameras are able to capture what not. Still there are things that are yet beyond the capabilities of our technology.
Human spirits, which are not captured in reality, and there are these extraterrestrial creatures. There are many videos circulating online and make news around the globe dragging attention of multitudes each time. Its all interesting, fascinating, yet unsolved mysteries of the universe - the extraterrestrial life. There were also rumors that these unknown flying objects were seen in Russia, China, India, apart from USA. In this article, I am going to share few lines about the aliens.
All about aliens
What are aliens? Do they really exists? If yes what is their habitat like? Are they intelligent than humans? Many of us are occupied with these thoughts and are curious to know about the existence of other lives in another dimension. Aliens are thought to be beings from other worlds in outer space. Researchers have long sought extraterrestrial life in other parts of the universe.
In 2015, a US Navy force encounter off the East Coast with the group. In 2016, astronomers spent arguing over whether the weird pulses of light coming from a distant star were actually evidence of an "alien mega structure." An army of silicon valley billionaires were racing to make first contact with super powered telescopes.
Alien dreams have always been powered by the desire for human interests to see whether they really exists? Unlike religion or nationalism or any conspiracy theory these incidents which never occurred in cities, where other witnesses could have verified them, were often reported falsely as horror encounters. Late Stephen Hawking was not just a physicist but also a sort of sage, guru for a generation of those curious about life beyond the earth. Yuri Milner with his lab at UC Berkeley were the names often heard in the research about life in space.
Observations
So far the renowned programs have identified 5 observations that showed mysterious objects displaying some level of advanced physics. The objects would accelerate with g-forces too strong for human body to withstand., Hyper sonic speed with no heat trail or sonic boom., Without any aerodynamic structures to provide thrust/lift against gravity., With unexplained aerial phenomena.
Fast radio bursts are one of the most mysterious phenomena ever observed by scientists in 2007. They also emit more energy than sun that were identified coming from outside the milky way. There is still a lot to know about these mysterious objects.
Fantasy or real
One can not come to a conclusion if the unknown flying objects do exists? If they do, then why they are only limited to US Navy, Army? Why not their presence is documented in other countries? Why there's a compromise in the quality of video clippings circulating these days, and why they are for few minutes should hint about their existence in reality. So do you believe in their existence?

Artemis created new article Modern India and The Slaughter of Science.
India is the largest democracy in the world, having a population of 133.92 crores (as of 2017). This vast population comprises of a number of people belonging to different religions, castes and tribes. This complex amalgamation of different ideologies, beliefs and lifestyles, evolving together over hundreds of years, despite conflicts and confrontations, is no mean feat. Article 25-28 of the Indian Constitution guarantees freedom of religion to every person, which plays a vital role in fostering and sustaining harmony among such a varied and heterogeneous community. In the absence of such freedom, the existence and survival of so many different groups is unimaginable.
Yet, for all its efforts in ensuring the peaceful coexistence of groups of people, the direction in which the country has recently been moving is appalling, to say the least. The eternal war between science and religion, modernity and tradition, has taken a unique form in this land of contradictions. Here, in this land, where you can find scientists performing pujas, before going to work, and religious leaders toting the latest smartphone models, there are some who seek to destroy this delicate balance between the old and new.
Modern India has a number of people, who are ready and willing, to not only accept, but themselves promote unproven and non-scientific facts and ideas. The battle between science and religion only becomes more complex, when the very leaders, who should strive to rid the society of unscientific ideas become instrumental in spreading half-truths and in some cases, outright lies. By its very definition, science cannot state anything as the truth unless it can prove it. Claiming age old, unverified and untested theories as being scientific, without at least first testing them, will only serve to mislead the public. Disregarding scientific facts and data, simply because it does not suit one's ideology or beliefs, is indicative of narrow-mindedness.
Some of the country's leaders especially guilty of this, with their far-right ideology and traditional mindset. Such political leaders, have in fact, taken various measures to promote unscientific or pseudo-scientific methods, while simultaneously showing utter disregard, and even contempt for real science. Not only Science, but History too has not been left untouched. Attempts have been made to remove important chapters from school textbooks, to publicly denounce significant scientific and historical facts, and to encourage quasi-scientific ideas as true. People working for the growth and adoption of a scientific mindset are attacked by the orthodox, to the extent that they are murdered for fighting superstition and non-scientific beliefs and prejudices. All these endeavors serve to fulfill the agenda of only a certain section of people in giving India's past and present a particular colour. However, this ruthless campaign against science is not restricted to the realm of politics and political leaders only. Even individuals and groups, having a particular bent of mind, working in various spheres of the society, strive to reshape the society in an image that would suit their needs.
Science, for its own part, is not an offensive force, and contrary to what these individuals and groups would have the community believe, does not exist for the purpose of besmirching the country's traditions and culture. All it seeks is to study and discover reasons for occurrence of natural phenomenon. This it does, while staying neutral, neither working against or for, any ulterior motive. Nonetheless, it is made the scapegoat, when its discoveries and findings do not subscribe to long established customs and norms, even though those norms only serve to reinforce social evils like the division of society into various castes. It is ironic, how those very groups and individuals, who oppose and deny scientific teachings, are ready and eager to mould events and incidents lacking empirical evidence, to depict them as scientific. However, attributing phenomenon which have no basis in hard facts, and lack verifiable evidence, to science, for the sake of portraying our own past or present glory, is a vain and pointless effort.
When viewed with a detached perspective, it is possible for one to be amazed at the sheer absurdity of it all. While the world is busy making discoveries and inventions to astound us all, a fraction of our own country's political leaders, educators, religious gurus and citizenry, are busy making false claims about phenomena that cannot be proven. At present, India is a steadily growing power, with an increasingly important role in international affairs. However, if true scientific thinking is not nurtured and promoted, and our leaders and saints keep on making declarations in order to bask in the glory of a long gone period, it could not only lead to a major embarrassment for the country, but also cost it its reputation as a growing power.
It is time to let go of half-true notions and ideas. Time to stop falsely professing legends and myths lacking hard evidence, as scientific truths. Time to stop opposing scientific methods, and stop denying proven facts. It is time, to open our eyes, and prevent the slaughter of science.
