Babu saroj said thank you to Swetha Shenoy for his/her reply to the topic A lovely gift from a sweet friend.....
My dear KalyaniI am pleasantly surprised you would start a forum thread to thank me for the gift; but in reality, it should be me who would thank you for being such a lovely friend. I am glad you liked the gift! My dear Boddunan family,Thank you very much for your lovely comments and praises for my small gesture. In fact I would like to share how I met Kalyani. I joined boddunan.com in July 2009 with the aim of earning few bucks; but never could i have ever thought I would earn few friends. I donot maintain many friends virtually, but a select few I keep and one among them is Kalyani. I met her through Atul Barapatre somewhere around December 2009 and what clicked among us was the love for the Language English! I would share antidotes with kalyani and we would be giggling our way out online! This year marks 7 years of Knowing her and since it is a leap year, I wanted to do something memorable. As a co-incidence, Kalyani sent me some details of art along with her postal address which then I thought would surprise her and thanks to online portal paytm.com; i could be able to send a small gift to her for her birthday!!! I wanted to send something very worthy like a diamond set, but I could manage to send something under my budget!!! (Sorry for the disappointment Kalyani!!!) Even though I have not met Kalyani, she has been with me through thick and thin and her words of encouragement to me has always been like sweet water on a parched land. Thanks Kalyani for being a wonderful woman! I wanted you all to know, I tried to be friends with Gulshan ji (the simplistic taxman I would call him) and also Chinmoy ji (the charming poet) and Ram Babu gaaru (The artist). Chinmoyji has been cheering me every time I am down and Ram Babu gaaru would greet me now and then on boddunan. I have also to thank Sandhya Rani from kerala, who would have fun trying to analyze if Chinmoy ji was married or not (remember the old threads) and Sandhya would team up with Kalyani to help me lose my weight by gifting me an electric mosquito bat (where is it by the way??!!) I know I am getting way too emotional, but due to my time constraints I am not able to spend much time with my boddunan family. If i am not present in Boddunan, boddunan is not taken away from me!!!(This is my line which I had shared with Atul). I still remember the first boddunan get together and second boddunan get together where I was prevailed to Meet Maverick!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thank you all , once again for the lovely words! P.S- I can still be friends with those who donot know me....

one more thing you can do is that you can make a blog of your own product and share that on every social messaging site so that more and more people can see that and encourages other to buy that product

dowry is such a thing that if given by the girl parent voluntarily that it's ok but if taken by the boy parent for their greed then its become a crime. i don't know who started this tradition of dowry but whoever had started this he/she might don't think also that it will become a ruthless greed.

The videos- at least some have been detected as forged/ doctored by Forensic lab at Hyderabd. The Delhi government has consequently given clean chit to the accused in JNU case. Let us wait for final court decision. The fact of doctoring of videos is now well known.   Yes. let's wait for the final decision. There is no meaning in jumping to conclusions before the court's final decision. As the issue pertains to Delhi, the position taken by Delhi government is significant. Delhi government gave clean chit to the accuse, Kanhaiya during bail proceedings although Police opposed bail. Bail was granted. Delhi government is contemplating legal action against certain T.V. channels for telecasting doctored videos.  https://in.news.yahoo.com/jnu-footage-delhi-govt-initiates-161600444.html

chinmoymukherjee wrote: @Vijay.I don't know why you have chosen yours truly to be honored being a brutus? As far as my poor knowledge goes about the context that the poor brutus had to leave Caesar, his friend, when he saw in him the arrogance and hubris of a ruler to destroy the Roman republic to emerge as emperor even started comparing himself with gods!! I also don't know if Gulshanji who has generously thanked you for being his alter ego, would be be comfortable being the Caesar!! No, We are not Caesar and Brutus. Our only role here is to present our viewpoint fearlessly and truly, which we do.  Here nobody is betraying anyone and there is also no occasion to betray. So the story of Caesar and Brutus is not relevant. But this is a minor thing. so I ignored.

The replies here are becoming quite repetitive and there seems to be nothing to be added here, so locking the thread. However, if anyone feels there is more to be discussed, you can request it to be reopened. Thank you.

Such a shameless and disgusting attitude! He truly deserves not one but several kicks on his *** and then maybe make him sweep the streets for some time , to bring him down from the high clouds he seems to be riding on!

Kalyani Nandurkar said thank you to usha manohar for his/her reply to the topic what is secularism?.
Jincy Aby wrote: usha manohar wrote: Of course this is a known fact because the so called secular laws are for Hindus only ! They have to practice family planning and abide by all laws laid down by the constitution whereas both Muslims and Christians can have their own laws with regard to marriage, divorce and property ! And on top of that the majority community is discouraged from not discussing about these special rules made for them...Our nation is communal not secular !   There are some laws in Christian religion. But the religion never compel people to obey there rules. People have complete freedom to reject a particular law if they can't follow. But in Muslim religion, they ought to obey the laws of Islamic.    No country pampers minorities like our country does and this is bad all round because it breeds discontent among the majority community and minorities take things for granted , even manipulate the system as and when they can...If we see countries like Germany and France where they have a large number of Muslims , Hindus, Sikhs and others , the law remains the same for all...They have to follow one uniform law, no head gear, no burkha ...Muslims are not unhappy there because they are treated at par with others but they also cannot manipulate the system.Any unrest has come now because of the generosity of these nations, who have given assylum to a large number of Arabs , among whom there were traitors who showed their true colors by biting the hand that fed them..Otherwise , with a uniform law people remain much more happier and there will be no reason for complaint! I sincerely wish Modi gets to rule for at least 10 years because that is the time he requires to set this nation straight and bring in some much needed changes..change some moth eaten laws to begin with !
