I feel that a united USSR would have been good for the world , both politically and economically
Unfortunately USSR could not integrate all the nationalities like Cossacks, Muslims, Arabs, Turks, Armenians and Christians. It broke because it was a historical aberration. There are many similarities with India which also is unable to integrate all the Hindu groups, Sikhs, Muslims , untouchables etc. We have survived because the CIA and USA don't want India to break. The day the USA decides to break India like the plan John Dulles, CIA director made for USSR, India will be finished. There are plenty of disgruntled communities in India. After all the Chinese institute of Strategic Studies has foreecast breakup of India. .

No I don't think it is an election stunt. He is articulating the feelings in America. Trump is not talking of nations , but communuties. When he castigates Muslims , Pakistan is included. He is worried of Pakistan Nukes. That is the reason he says the US must not leave Afghanistan to save Pak nukes falling into hands of ISI etc.
It is good thing that he worried about Pakistan Nukes. But I think all Muslim community is not terrorist.
I agree with you,but I will quote Satyapal Singh the Ex Commissioner of Police Mumbai. He stated " All Muslims are not terrorists, buy 99.5% of the terrorists caught are Muslim"

I can add some more Leadership qualities in Modi. Long term planning and focus. He will not entrust the jobs to others. Rather he himself will supervise the progress of the jobs. Other traits in Modi like risk taking made him Charismatic. He is a thinker and analyzer. He is an innovator. " Make in India " is an example. In one word I would say that Modi is the best thing that happened to India after independence.
Not only make in India, skill India is also a good plan to skill peoples and increase earning. I think Modi have plan for every citizen of India.
Modi is Proactive. He will not for the things to happen. Rather he makes the things to happen. We all know that Modi is a great orator and a great communicator.. Midi is a highly organized leader. He will not hesitate to seek adivice from his Party members. He is the best political leader that India has ever seen.

The same point I mentioned in my previous comment about the earthen cups. That's really true.. Couple of months back I read a news about a 100 year old man in USA who is pretty healthy even at this age so people asked the reason for his health.. He just indicated that along with the healthy food he drinks a glass of beer everyday. Beer is the reason for his good health.
This shows that anything in moderation is good but if same thing becomes addiction then it leads to disaster.
