Internet is s boon to those who are looking for any specific information, most youngsters now including my children got all the career and guidance for higher studies through the net ...if you know what you want, sky is the limit now !

One of the biggest issues of modern Indian higher education is that there is a huge mismatch between what Indians study and what they ultimately do. Even the best of institutions in India are not able to harness the power of all talented people.
The reality, however is different. It is a fact of life that there are many with basic entrepreneurial skills, but are unable to find the right information or the right guidance.
A few institutions that exist are guiding the students to some extent, but much more needs to be done.
What can really be done, differently and effectively? Apart from career counseling, can HR experts play a big role, whatever be the other constraints obtaining in some place?

Apply in your own heart and nowhere else. I mention BJP because they are in power and such instances have gone up in last two years by design or default. Their own elements get involved. You yourself say that Modi should control such elements. In politics perception counts a lot.

The young man was killed by his own friends in a land dispute. Now what do you say why his caste is being mentioned and if they must do it they must mention caste of other nine persons too. But it has become a fashion if the case is against a Dalit or a member from so-called minority which in my area are in majority.

Nowadays it is very hard to believe any newspaper and the news channels. News reporters are always in search of some 'masala news' for people to discuss, argue, protest, fight and what not. Then again it will become a news.

The same thing happened in Mysore where RSS activists were killed and hardly any media coverage and even more surprising was the silence of the award wapsi brigade ..

Going through the posts of the high and mighty members calling others peculiar was to say the least highly amusing, little realising how very peculiar they themselves are .
Coming back to the discussion,i only imbecile minds can think of arm twisting and threatening to commit suicide for all the wrong reasons . they should be allowed to carry on with their mission..

Honestly it hardly matters to me , who wins or who loses . in fact with the kind of atmosphere we have with Pakistan, we shd have nothing to do with them until relationships become cordial. No doubt things have become far better now after Modi took over but far from normal or cordial..either way, for those die hard cricket fans all the best and happy watching !
