Usha Madam, you are one hundred percent correct. I think our great Finance Minister represents a party that is basically communal. Right from the issue of eating beef to talking wrong about everything that Islam represents, without even bothering about consequences, is absolute trash.
Mr Jaitley is no different. It is high time that the Congress party and others take to the streets and mobilize public opinion. The Congress may be corrupt, but at least talking about minorities and disturbing the social fabric, in any way, will not happen.
Freedom of speech and Nationalism can indeed co-exist. If we do not allow people to express themselves and put them in jail, we also need to jail hundreds from the RSS and the BJP, who are so brazenly communal.
Calling only BJP as communal is not fair and wrong to some extent. Calling congress to come down on streets and mobilize public opinion also will serve no purpose, after all what good have they ever done, apart from giving freebies, subsidies and various other benefits to poor people only to turn them into beggars? And when you talk about spreading discord into minorities and damaging the social fabric, it is the congress that will win the contest any time, hands down and not BJP.

The problem is that most people would never look beyond the party they support, to the extent , they don't even accept that there could be some short comings ! The old party culture, as usual highly intolerant !!!!!

I had been in almost all South Indian states and seen people closely. I am surprised to read anyone care to pass a comment on sleeveless blouse in any big city in that part of the country. If my memory serves me right I first saw a lady in a sleeveless blouse and very beautifully worn saree in a southern state well before I saw in North. I think if that was the case it must have some personal reason but not the dress itself.

. I happened to see, how things change over a period. Presently, i marked a change in the attitude of both men and women in their thoughts and attitude. This is true in the case of wearing sleeveless blouses too. Things will not remain forever unchanged. Had it been like that Humans would have remained still in the Old Stone Age.

Exactly. It happened in my case. I had a penchant for art. Seeing my Art , i got a seat in the prestigious J.J. School of Ats. But, my parents refused to allow me to study Art. They wanted that I should study Engineering. As a result, I neither became an Artist nor an engineer . I became a Science graduate with border marks. As luck would have it, I got a job in Rourkela Steel plant. It's here i had won many National awards in Safety Posters and calendar designs. After this, I never looked back. During this period, one senior officer happened to see my Art. He recommended my name to the Chief Personnel Manager of just coming up Vizag Steel plant. Then things happened in quick succession. I got a job in Vizag Steel Plant as a Visualizer in the P.R Department. I was trained in the most prestigious Advertising Agencies.
Now after my retirement, I started working in many Advertising firms located locally. Still I'm continuing.

I know that you did not refer to Chennai but I also know from personal experience of my close friends that wearing sleeveless dresses is still frowned upon at even in large corporate companies in Chennai, although I am sure that the scene must be changing gradually.

Achieving independence is an essential part of your child's journey to adulthood. Hence it is essential for the parents to make their child's journey smooth and successful. To put it simple, a child needs freedom to find new things on their own. In this process, the child needs parents' guidance and support.
