Also earlier members got points for leaving a comment or feed back on article pages, which I feel is beneficial. More members would read articles and more clicks on articles and good for the site as well There is a time criteria in place for clicking on articles Usha, if you click the second article too soon, then you do not get points. I think there needs to be a lapse of three minutes but that does not guarantee that the person will indeed read the article. That has to come from the person's integrity, we cannot do any thing about it.

I don't know where you got the idea that the RSS and BJP are responsible for bringing campus politics into JNU and other campuses. FYI JNU has been a stronghold for the communists and leftists right from earlier days. Congress also has a strong presence there always, the name alone testifies to it. Blaming only ABVP as the saffron brigade of BJP as teh cause of all that has happened in Hyderabad or JNU is not fair, congress is also responsible, in fact more so, for allowing Rahul Gandhi to poke his nose into affairs not of his concern. And to some extent, politics needs to be exposed to students because it is from them that the future politicians will be born, but the way it is played must be contained. A person should be applauded and supported on merit alone and false heroes should be created just for the sake of a few vested interests like is happening with Kanhaiya kumar.

Kalyani Nandurkar said thank you to usha manohar for his/her reply to the topic Does the youth of India need campus politics?.
Does the youth of India need campus politics?  You seem to have got things wrong because campus politics has been there for decades and ushered in with the blessings of the good old Communal( Congress) party of India.they target youngsters and fund them. Simply blaming BJP is no use.. However, I sincerely hope that Mr Modi cleans up the campuses of sedition, anti Nationalism etc , that is being encouraged openly by the communal party, or else what business do they have interfering with what is between the concerned ministry and the university.

Member of all parties speaking nonsense. shashi throor compare Bhagat Singh with Kanhya.    RSS/BJP most shamelessly and emphatically stand for Hindu Rashtra and raise provocative issues targeting minority as well as lower castes. No other organization does this. Talking of Shashi Tharoor or some one else making wrong statement is not comparable to brazen fascist communal politics of RSS/BJP.  Such comparison is like lamenting for loss of hair of one while another has been beheaded.      India is a nation of Hindus and any organization cannot be called shameless for wishing to have a Hindu Rashtra , exz cept people who are communal and have a double agenda. RSS thankfully does not pretend but is open abt it's agenda which is why it had garnered such a huge support base and I hope it grows ...what we need now is a disciplined governance not a sychopant one family based dictatorship.   So 'Hindu Rashtra' and religion based hate politics is nationalism and unity in diversity is communal and double agenda. Really very amusing. No need to reply!

It is election time in Tamil Nadu and the most corrupted ADMK of Jayalalitha has already distributed money to thousands of voters, virtually buying votes for money.  The other parties try to also buy through some inducement or the other. However, we in Tamil Nadu, do not seem to be alone.  I have heard that similar practices exist even in Bangalore and in Andhra Pradesh as well.  Kerala may be an exception, but the parties, including the communists, are very corrupted indeed. How do we reverse this trend and educate our public?  How do we go about educating them on the need for social action, particularly about protests that should involve the more educated and unconcerned middle class people?  How can we make them realize that votes should not be sold for hard cash, as they will eventually loose in the long term?

Then a member reading hundreds of articles per day should not be frowned upon. It is an equal opportunity game.

Each player is unique in his own right. Among the new comers I love Bumrah, who is capable delivering  fiery bouncers. Well said sir, and yeah whereas about Bumrah i really see a bright future of him in Indian cricket team, his yorker length delivery with consistency really can make him one of the greatest death over specialist.

vijay replied to the topic Let us also try natural cure.
It is not true that natural treatments do not have side effects. Ayurveda medicines induce many side effects like lose motions, drowsiness, because of the use of certain metallic compounds they use.

Vajpayeeji once told about a certain Rai Bahadur who used to sing praises of the British and condemn Congress before 1947. After 1947 he started singing praise s of Congress. When told that he had changed he said no I am the same it is the government which has changed, I am doing what I always do. Now we have Ramrajya.

Bangladesh lost because of inexperience and inability to handle pressure in the last few balls. Dhoni's strategy evolved out of well earned experience. Hereafter it will be very challenging for India if it has to reach the finals.

well i have to say that it the luck of Dhoni which won him the match against Bangladesh as we can see that the bowler who was getting beaten 2 fours in 3 balls and surprisingly he got 3 wickets in 3 balls i mean come on guys this is really a luck favour
