Gulshan Kumar Ajmani wrote: May be BJP has not many good candidates in Kerala. So they have to field somebody- good or bad, whatever be.  yes I agree. That is perhaps the reason that so many candidates fighting on BJP ticket are those that don't have a good example and go against BJp policy of ushering Ram Rajya.

The ultimate solution of our economic problems is to make best use of our natural and human resources. The policy and initiative for skill development undertaken by govt. is welcome. For optimum use of our resources, it is necessary to create more community assets rather than personal. so, better to discourage private vehicles and encourage public transport system. similarly stress should be on public sanitation, public utilities rather than toilet in each house. a toilet in street can be used by anyone whereas that in house would be only by those living in there.  Also public libraries need be encouraged. Creating more public facilities encourages more interaction among people and promotes harmony rather than using personal assets.  Examples can be multiplied. The stress is on public assets as this will mean better utilization of scarce resources.

I feel that minimum amount should be Rs. 50/-  Any article deserving lesser amount should be considered sub standard and not approved.  If any article does not qualify to get Rs. 50/- should be considered as substandard cannot be a right judgement. To qualify for the minimum amount the site should lay down some fixed criteria such as word limit, error free article or minimum mistakes, must have headings and subheadings and so on. Without some fixed conditions the writers cannot understand the requirement of the site.  There is minimum 300 words requirement for article. The guidelines for writing articles are given in the site itself. It should be appreciated that an article is not like mathematics and so it is not possible to give rigid criterion. Apart from words limit, an article should be grammatically correct, not copied, properly formatted  and presentable. An article need not be merely informative as all information is available on web sites. an author should give his own original thoughts and opinion with reasons, divide article in paragraphs and give sub headings to these. It will be best to read the articles first to get an idea about model articles. Thanks for the details and the given criteria are well known but suppose you reject an article and consider it as substandard then I feel it would be of great help if you convey the reasons in a well defined manner. I know it will be an extra pressure on the editors still it's a humble request because it will help the writers to assess their write-up in a much better way. Even if you are giving a minimum amount then also the reason should be mentioned or else we writers will never try to assess our fault and accuse the editors. While rejecting, I give reasons and also suggestion to improve the article and resubmit. When I feel that article has good content but with bad grammar and mistakes, I even attempt to make correction though this is very time consuming. Normally editors cannot be expected to take so much pains. They do not get such remuneration as would compensate the efforts in making too many corrections. If the article contains mistakes in every line, editors would normally reject and you can't blame them for this. Personally, I don't want to accept an article with glaring mistakes and spelling errors even for small cash like Rs. five or ten. A badly written article must be rejected rather than approved with small amount like Rs. 5/.

I am sure you might have guessed the reason by now, if he was fielding for the congressis, no one would have objected or raise such questions! LOL @Kalyani, I don't know about others but I have started this thread with a doubt in my mind is not because I am Congress supporter. Till date if you have followed my comments I have never sided with any political party, it's because I am very much disinterested in politics and you can say my knowledge is also very little about politics. I felt it's not morally right and so put forward my viewpoint.  I agree. You are not a Congress supporter. If this were so, you would welcome bad choice of BJP. Why should anyone like a good candidate of opposition party. The Congress and Left would be happy if BJP fielded only weak, notorious and bad candidates. Same can be said about BJP also who would think similarly.

Some have questioned why Hindutva is related to RSS and BJP. What is wrong with Hindutva. Of course nothing wrong if you simply observe the rituals and lead life according to your religion. The issue arises when you attempt to dominate others nourishing false sense of superiority. You target not only religious minorities but also those who don't agree with your brand of aggressive Hindutva. You target also those who don't support your ideology. This is what Nazi and fascists stood for.  For Hitler, German race was pure Aryan and a master race who was fully justified to dominate and rule other races- subject races. To draw parallel, R.S.S. also believes in Hindu nation and considers non Hindus as well as dissenters as unworthy of citizenship. Recently, top BJP leader Subramaniam Swamy proposed that Muslims and other religious minorities be deprived of right to vote unless they accept that the mythological figures Rama and Krishna are their ancestors. The RSS ideology is well expressed in the books 'Bunch of thoughts'  and 'we- our nationhood defined."  The R.S.S. and BJP have not so far disassociated themselves from these books written by M.S. Golwalkar. The occasional talk of harmony by some BJP leaders is clearly deceptive. The occasional liberal face of BJP or some times R.S.S. is deceptive. However the minorities and the downtrodden will certainly not accept the hegemony of the communal fascist forces, who will prove just paper tigers. The support base of these fascist and communal forces is big business, Hindu clergy and professionals who are naturally timid by nature as well as exigencies of their business and profession.

Juvenile criminals should be treated and punished like an adult criminals. If juvenile can understand and commit murders or rapes then it means he/she is not juvenile, they understand what is right and wrong. Such criminals should be punished as adults are.

This is a competitive world, if we want to survive we have to be hurry. In olden days, only aim was to earn money for basic necessities (food, clothing, shelter), but today basic necessities has increased to such a extent that if we are not hurry then we cannot survive.  Also as we say time is money, if we lose time we lose money. If we take everything lightly and slowly, we are wasting our time, once time goes it doesn't come back. Many people think in this way hence they always run with time.

The importance of travel depends on  person to person. Some are wanderlust , like to travel and enjoy every bit of it, while some prefer to sit at home and enjoy.  I personally feel travel is more than the sight seeing,  Travelling to different places gives us chance to explore the different aspects of those places, get to know different cultures and social norms.

Certainly, travel is a lot more than what the person sees; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living. Mary Ritter Beard Travelling broadens ones mind besides the other obvious benefits and values that are associated with it. How important is travel to individuals?

If 100 crore Hindus are afraid of 20 odd crore Muslims then what can be done. Parliament and Supreme Courts have to do their duty. All will fall in line. The muslim mania of many is creating imaginary demons. Everything seems to be muslim centric. Even USA is to be judged by attitude of Trump towards muslims. Many have predicted break up of China as it's citizen want democracy sooner or later. Ok stop being a scare crow all the time and stop imaginary battles. thank you Vijay, I enjoy a verbal and written joust with you. Bear in mind that only 100,000 Britishers controlled a population of 350 million and only about 50000 Muslims controlled 100 million Hindus. This was based on the axiom" fear is the Key". This  is a fact  and is brought out in Freedom at Midnight byLapaire and Indian history by Duff. So 100 cr can be controled by 20 cr easily as Hindus are divided by caste and creed.  The philosophy of non violence by Gandhiji was to remove fear of being controlled by violence in Indiana. He succeeded to a large extent but some like you are still afraid. India of today is not India of yesteryear, it has moved for beyond pessimistic opinions about its future.

Repeatedly singling out Congress and it's leaders is alright but if it is done for BJP members then none of us is paragon of virtue etc reasons are thrown in. Sreesanth is a bad choice that is reality, no need to compare with Congress or any other party.

Gulshan Kumar Ajmani wrote: I have another fear. The minorities only need some degree of autonomy and freedom from interference in their affairs. Nothing else. If the fascist Hindu communal forces are not restrained and they go with their agenda, there will be disastrous results.  I will remind you that  The term Fascism was first used of the totalitarian right wing nationalist regime of Mussolini in Italy (1922–43); the regimes of the Nazi  in Germany.Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one national or ethenic  group> Where is it? I dont see in India  and no foreigner sees it also other than you and the Congress. Come man dont use words for the sake of using like Fascism etc.

Congress with its warped policies and communal agenda has made sure that several Pakistans are ready to be formed all over the nation. Thankfully now we have a government with a vision and clarity of action and in time we can hope to have a nation where all are equal and have equal opportunities. However, I have my own doubts whether the communal party which is like a wounded tiger after losing power would let things remain peaceful, they have been going all out to spread lies and fabricated rumors simply to instil fear in the masses. But by now people of India should know better.
