8th March, it is also first Navratra. Amenkar Jayanti is on 14th and Ramnavmi is on 15th. Here we celebrate new year on 8th.

Not any more, in fact the private airlines are the cheapest now while compared to Airindia and its sister organisation. The other day my brother flew here from Bangalore on Jet airways paying Rs 2200 while the airfare on Indian airlines was close to Rs 5500...In fact we have 7 flights daily from Mangalore to Bangalore and all of them are going full even during week days except the Indian airlines flight on which you can hope to get a seat even during last minute if you can afford it !

So in effect we should be treating Koran, Bible, Guru Granth Sahib and all the rest as fairy tales, and will those religious groups agree to this suggestion, most probably some of them would go on a strike, the so called sicularists of our country go up in arms and some issue a fatwah against the one who dares to say so about their scriptures ..

Apparently Mamata Banerjee had given some contracts to the same IVCRL when she was a Railways minister in the central cabinet. Now she puts the blame on the previous government very conveniently for having given the contract to the firm.. With 26 lives lost and several mre in serious condition , politicians dont care and will go on with their politiking ..
