Some of the Indians who figured in Panama Papers have claimed that their investments were legal. Construction major DLH , who was also enlisted in the Panama Papers, said that they had followed all applicable rules and regulations of Govt of India like RBI, FEMA and income tax to the last detail.

I would rather be called naive and as far as others are concerned it is up to them what they choose to believe of an organisation like RSS which is patriotic and is always at the forefront when national tragedies occur, quietly working without hankering after any publicity ( they have been helping out even at Calcutta ) cant be said that of any other organisation which talks big about its achievements, nor did RSS divide India based on religion in 1947...I guess people need to introspect their own preferences before putting down others .Just because a family owned communal party decided to go all out defaming RSS , does not mean the rest of us are blind and deaf !
The RSS is a patriotic organization. I have seen that during the Kargil conflict RSS volunteers helped my squadron boys in everything. It was a great morale boost. My father tells me that in the 65 war with Pakistan the RSS volunteers caried hot food to the trenches of Indian soldiers. Alas, some perverted minds keep on harping and calling a RSS a fascist organization. The fascist theory as practiced under Mussoloni in Italy with the Brown shirts killing all opponents is not RSS way of work. How many know that RSS was allowed by Nehru to do a march past in 1963 during R Day parade.

That may be so, but from what I read in news, it seems that these people sent their money outside before it was made legal to send money outside, and that too without paying tax on that money, so it is still illegal.

I think this is just news that is given with an edge of sensationalism. Offshore companies are legal and are allowed in Dubai also. Though there are names of some 500 Indians , mark my words nothing will come out of this exercise.

The questions and counter questions- Are you a nationalist- are you pseudo nationalist pseudo secular- in some posts are rhetoric and not serious discussion. This reminded me of a question- Have you stopped beating your wife- say yes or No. What could be the answer. If you say, Yes, it means admitting that you were beating your wife. If you say, no, you are still indulging in cruelty. It is not possible to answer yes or no for most question. For example, Do you support Kanhaiya Kumar or Anupam Kher. May be you support both or oppose both. Then how you answer.

Being physically and mentally active is the only way for our overall health. Some exercise- may be simply jogging and brisk walking, reading newspaper and writing, solving crossword puzzles or sudoko- are sure to keep you healthy. It pays to do small things yourself rather than asking for help. It is better to fill your glass with water from water cooler yourself rather than asking some one else's help.

I agree. There is nothing illegal if your transactions are transparent and not intended to evade tax. There is nothing wrong in foreign bank accounts when you often visit abroad, have business dealings abroad. You may remit money abroad and also receive from there. Many have their children and other relatives abroad. Actually concealing of income and assets for tax evasion is bad.

I remember an incident that took place long back which was later discussed by some magazines then. EMS Namboodripad the scion of communism in Kerala also one of the first CM of Kerala , and AK Gopalan another equally famous communist party leader of Kerala attended a party meeting and later had to attend the thread ceremony of his nephew. There are such contradictions because one cannot disassociate the norms and traditions of the society we live in. With all that communism was looked up by the masses during that period because of the commitment show by the then leaders which is definitely not the case now..
A Communist as well as a rationalist or anti religion- all are born in some religious community and follow the rituals. The religious norms and rituals are almost ready made and come naturally. By becoming irreligious, one does not come out of religious community in which born. Personally, I don't believe in many religious rituals but I performed all rituals on my father's death as any Hindu would do. I also feel that there is no harming performing and witnessing any rituals and customs. There is no need to oppose anything even if you don't agree. But we have to oppose and also motivate others when some ritual or custom is very unjust or inhuman. For example, sati system, dowry, extravagant expenses on marriage and death should be opposed. We need not oppose the harmless rituals even if we don't agree.

Well said. The Books are withdrawn and an investigation is going on to find out the responsible. I'm not a person who blindly follow their favorite Communal party of India. Some members post rubbish to gain points. Let them swim in their own ignorance.
Without taking any side I find it highly amusing to read about posting rubbish to gain points , that too coming from you ..
