It is different when you write an article where you have to take care of paragraphs ,grammar and sentence formation. But on a forum, the idea is to express yourself naturally, not quote from other sources ...So, the more natural with a mistake here and there is acceptable and better than a carefully written monologue which can be boring ..

Actually what is required is discipline not division, a uniform civil code would really help put things in place , with equality to all religious groups rather than the communal divide that has taken place so far. If the government works towards bring in that our country will be a much better place without inequality ..

Celebrities become the target for many wrong doings by others, who use their name and status .

According to BBC news, with emergence of new treatments, awareness of symptoms, the deaths caused by cancer, dropped considerably in the recent past. However,, there are some factors like genetics and environmental factors which lead to cancer are beyond our control.Different types of Cancers like Lung cancer, Bowel Cancer, Breast Cancer,Prostrate cancer can be prevented with awareness and being immunized against viruses like HPV and HBV according to WHO, World Health Organization.   Agree to your point that cancer can be prevented by adopting healthy lifestyle. I had read somewhere that some vaccine are actually the cause for developing cancer; HPV vaccine is suppose to help prevent the cancer, but in some cases it has acted in reverse way, HPV vaccine seemed to be the cause for developing cancer. In my opinion we cannot trust vaccines completely. If we eat healthy food and maintain healthy lifestyle I believe many dreadful diseases are preventable. It also depends on luck..I have seen healthiest and fittest of people get cancer and by the time it gets detected , it is too late. This happened with one of my relatives who was considered a model of health and fitness. He died last year of prostate cancer which got detected at stage 4 YES, i fully agree on you yeah luck is also a factor, a strong factor for having cancer but we as a citizen of modern world we cannot blame everything on luck, a bad habit of doing anything for our body is also responsible too.   Only foolish people blame everything on luck but no matter how much one is careful, at times one simply cannot overlook the X factor that comes in the way without our realisation. We are human not super human and there are limits to what we can do .

In some cases excessive faith drives people to take their own lives which is distressing but far better  than harming others , because in other far more dangerous and extreme cases religious fanatics end up killing others in the name of god and religion, we have enough examples around us..

How do we make public travel far better?   Normally all major cities are well connected in India through road and rail. Mangalore is connected through Air, rail and road ways to almost all district capitals within the state and major cities in India. There are as many as 120 buses operating between Bangalore and Mangalore every single day and half that number to Mumbai every day. But what is needed is good roads and also resting places in between with clean toilet facilities and food...There are a few places run by private individuals, but that is not enough since the places are packed to capacity every day

Babu saroj wrote: whereas about cleanliness, i think cleanliness start from every individual house. if we are strict in cleaning our own house then there is nobody who can make our house or our surrounding dirty. The Indian mentality is to clean ones own house and garden if they have one and throw the rubbish into another compound or street side. It is precisely  because of this attitude that our public places are filthy. How much can the authorities do ?

MG Singh wrote: vijay wrote: It is doubtful if horse riding can become a popular sport in Ondia even if government were to support it. It seems to be out of sync with today's lifestyle and needs. Heavens! Just see the popularity of the sport in USA and Europe. Riding clubs are everywhere. Our problem is economic. Yes when people do not have enough to eat they can't take part in most sports. Why riding even fencing,  canoeing. Rafting and shooting. Horse riding is one of finest sports and i have ridden for 3 decades. Horse riding and owning horses is considered the prerogative of the rich and famous, party because horses are expensive to buy and maintain . I remember a case in Bangalore where a horse used for pulling a Jhatka( horse carriage) abandoned by the owner because it was sick and run down. A lower middle class family , living close to where we lived , adopted the horse which was wandering the streets , feeding it with whatever they could afford and caring for it , and the children  learnt to ride the horse, in fact learnt to ride it well. One of the boys is a Jokey now , the old horse is still there looked after by him.

Almost every day a young student or two are caught by the Security personnel in Hyderabad. These incidents are not imaginary fears
