BJP as of now has support base in some states only but sadly Congress is losing even the support base it had earlier and this support has to shift somewhere else..
Congress party has made minority card an election business to be used and packed away after which it went about with its own divide and rule policy, no wonder the party is what it is today because of its own arrogance and wrong priorities. It is also something from which BJP can learn , s that it does ot follow the same route in the future !

Bank nationalization was a political tool to ward off opposition used by Indira Gandhi, what is the point of weeping now. De-nationalize the banks. Why not, The banks were indeed fiefdoms of big business before 1969. Then Indira Gandhi nationalized the Banks to make advantageous to the politicians. That is the real cause for the present crisis. When the communal party Congress was responsible, not only for the Bank crisis also for a plethora of crisesis that ruined the Country for two decades the people will shout and curse the Congress. Owing to this, It has become burden to Modi Government to clear the garbage created by the erstwhile Govt. Of course, the nation is very confident that with time Modi will set right the things
De nationalization is not possible. It is true that only nationalize banks are working under influence of government, private banks are also working under influence. Situation is improved in last years. Banks are working with some free hand. Best example of it is RBI governor, he is working as he like.
RBI governor has a certain amount of freedom to function independantly , of course with the consent and approval of Finance minister. However, even private banks come under RBI and the finance ministry, so they cannot make their own rules now.

True, It is plain common sense that you do the needful and be humane, Thank god there are some who see it this way !
Even if the water that will be utilised for IPL cannot be used for drought affected regions, it is still a crime to waste water in such a way when it is clear that the needs of common people and farmers is far more greater than cheap entertainment. And where there is a true and sincere will to help others, there is a way as is evident from the fact that Maharashtra CM Fadnavis arranged for a special water train brought in from Rajasthan which was filled with 5 lakh liters of water in Miraj and sent to Latur which is affected severely with drought.

Instead of wasting precious water on such cheap and vulgar displays of wealth, it would be better used to water dying crops and animals instead.
The BCCI Na IPL is so flushed with funds that apparently they have been buying water from tankers from wells, wasting precious water...all that talk about treated water is just that ! The court has noted down all these details and also said that it is better to shift the jamborie elsewhere. In a country hit by one of the worst droughts ever, is there a need for this?
At present most of part of India is facing water crises. It may serious in some region. At present cost of 1 bucket water in Shimla is 100Rs.
The very fact that most of India is facing drought situation , more so the southern states, makes it imperative that these games be cancelled. The lead players like Sharad Pawar and Rajjev Shukla are safely in their Air conditioned comfort refusing to say a word, goes to show how the politicians and the organsiers are least bothered about what conditions prevail in the country, except how best they could make money out of it.

Amitabh Bachan and his brother were both made the scapegoat before during Bofors scandal by the Congress party , from which it took him a lot of effort and money to untangle himself. The actual offenders including Quotrocchi were given state protection and allowed to get away with their deal money !
Now the new allegations about Amitabh Bachan , whether it has merit or no , hopefully wil be given a fair trail unlike before..

This is not the first time it has happened either, from experience one can see that you are most of the time inconsistent and unreliable in your views on any subject that is being discussed, which makes discussions become a tedious task because one can never be sure when you would change your views. You are also one of those who would never admit to the fact, yet to see any other member here who is inconsistent or unreliable. They put forth their views and stick to it , which makes it easy to interact ..

The member took lot of pains to prove my inconsistency and unreliability. In this context I would like to say that my opinions on IPL were made under different situations. Definitely, I'm a cricket lover, ( For me IPL is not a circus, but an amusement that makes me float on Cloud nine.) provided the organizers of IPL fulfill certain conditions like drought conditions and the water scarcity. Additionally, when the BCCI took the decision to conduct IPL in Maharashtra which was facing severe water scarcity, I vehemently opposed the move. My opinions on IPL can be seen on other threads related to IPL. Naturally this attitude of mine appears to be inconsistent. In reality, I do not wish to see a cricket match conducted under adverse conditions. I'm a responsible Indian Cricket lover like many millions of cricket lovers. This love towards Cricket should not be misunderstood as " Craziness."
Another point I would like to make clear and ask is, even if I'm an unreliable crazy Cricket lover, how it prevents other members from quoting their own opinions ? Differences in opinions are bound to crop up during discussions.

I do not understand, why people are in a hurry. On one side the Govt of Panama is investigating about the Indians who invested in other countries. On the other side, PM Modi assured a thorough enquiry and said, no culprit will be spared, if proved guilty.Till then people should not jump to hasty decisions.

Truth prevails. The very fact that UPA admitted before the Supreme court that the NDA regime in 5 years constructed nearly half the length of National Highways laid during the last 32 years. The futile attempts of the opposition to malign Modi once again establishes BJP's commitment to the welfare of this country. And it will increase in future.

Virat Kohli's statement on Mallya is just a statement about Mallya who gave him a break in Cricket. That does not make Mallya an angel. Now, after Jaitley's order empowering the Banks, freedom to act according to the needs of the Bank to collect Bad debts, Mallya's return to India is imminent.. The courts ordered him to appear personally before May.

How can you forget percentage. This is important to understand real popularity of any leader or party as well as recognition by election commission. That is why percentages are displayed by election commission. It may be okay to support or oppose a leader or party but one has to be realistic and rationalist enough to see the actual position. BJP led NDA could get power but it cannot be overlooked that this could be achieved by very heavy support in some states of North, West and central India, In many places, the NDA has no presence. The significance of percentage is important as even a small decline in percentage can reduce many seats.

In some part of Maharastra peoples are getting little water, once in for days to drink and for other purpose. But Mharashtra governement have enough water fro IPL show (Tamasha) I read that 20 match will played in Maharashtra. Each match required 3 lac litter water. Total 60 lacs litter water. I think it enough to satisfied thrust of some million peoples for some days. It is not humane.
