The field of sports shows how backward India is in the field of sports. With a population of 1.2 billion, we are unable to win any sports involving strength and speed anywhere. A few winners here and there does not hide the stark fact the priority of the Indian governments have been lopsided. remember one swallow does not make the summer. You can only get sportsmen if the NATIONAL HEALTH improves. Here we have failed and per capita consumption of protein is among the lowest in the world. What to talk of there is famine and shortage of food. Who is responsible? Abroad people ask me why your nation 1.2 billion cannot throw up a single winner in athletics and games of strength. I give some lame answer and walk away. It is an insult. The priority of the government should not be to run bullet train but FIRST, feed the people with a healthy diet. Even Mars probe has little meaning if a child goes half hungry to bed. That's why I say we need a Kemel Mustapha , sadly there is no one.

Tuition is another factor  hat makes the student a Robot. Yeah, there are many students who go for the tuition 3-5 times a day. i have seen many friends of mine who have separate tuition for each and every subject, which makes the heavy burden on their head

It is incorrect to say that there is a uniform civil code even for 85%. There is no common code even for Hindus. There are two schools- Dayabhag in Bengal and Assam and Mitakshra in rest of India. Both these are part of Hindu law.  The entire talk of uniform civil code in meaningless. BJP has been talking about so called common code in past. But while in power, they have understood the folly and no longer even talk about this.  There is already common and same law for all citizens in civil, commercial, criminal matters that affect all uniformly.  Personal law is something that is a matter of indoor management of marital customs and affairs, succession and similar matters.  In name of so called common civil code, the real intention is to force the Hindu religion, tradition and customs on minorities.  This is neither feasible nor desirable. In fact, the BJP led government also has no such plan. Then there is no sense in discussing such issue.

I agree to all your points. In the coming days, you see me in  a different way. I sincerely want to get rid of the tag, " Inconsistent and Unreliable. " But sticking to my opinion with valid reasons will be there. I reiterate that I never took your advice in a negative way.

Not all believers are selfish and greedy and pray because they want something from god .. During time of stress I have seen how even weak minded people cope because of their belief .. yeah very true, not all human beings are greedy, yeah some of them are there who praises the god for giving them everything and even if they don't have anything they never complain instead of that they thanks them.

vijay wrote: 85% of the population is under a common code. Has it helped ? it has to be 100% like in other nations, only then the effect will be seen. Why should India be the lone nation in the world with this dichotomy. Can you point even one country in world which follows dual civil code in world ? This is handiwork of Nehru and Congress and an insult to Indian intellect.

The BJP is a political party and obviously, it is looking for electoral gains. But it a shade better than Congress which divided the nation on communal and caste lines. Remember the Mandal commission was ordered by India Gandhi. She had no compulsion for it.

It was a strike period and Shoot at Sight orders were issued. In these conditions from where you can buy food ? that is what i am saying, the shop was closed and that's why you didn't get the food to eat but think if the food shop was open, so to buy the food you need money in your pocket right sir, nobody will give the food to anyone for free unless he/she is your acquaintance

The Nation empowered Modi's Govt. to rule the country..  and the other Parties, especially the communal Congress was unceremoniously kicked out. That's the only thing that matters. Nothing else. How can you forget percentage. This is important to understand real popularity of any leader or party as well as recognition by election commission. That is why percentages are displayed by election commission. It may be okay to support or oppose a leader or party but one has to be realistic and rationalist enough to see the actual position.  BJP led NDA could get power but it cannot be overlooked that this could be achieved by very heavy support in some states of North, West and central India, In many places, the NDA has no presence. The significance of percentage is important as even a small decline in  percentage can reduce many seats.   Percentages are important in a proportional system of representation like in Italy. In the westminister model which we follow percentages are only of academic interest and in fact irrelevent.
