Indians are dòing good in badminton, tennis, wrestling, shooting, billiards, snookers, boxing. Are u stillunsatisfied like MGSingh, who is dissatisfied with everything in India and it's leaders etc. His favorite sport is blaming Nehru and minorities. Very unsportsman like attitude. Even the sports you mention India has not done well for a nation of 1.2 billion. Outside India even in cricket we have the greatest records of defeats in cricket. Under Dhoni India lost 8 consecutive tests in England and Australia- a world record of consecutive defeats. In tennis we have never one a wimbledon singles or any other major singles tournament. One swalow doesnt make a summer and in badminton except for one player its a big zero. We won 0ne medal in 100 years of olympics. Same in weightlifting and sports of strength. Be realistic and accept that Nehru had lopsided priorities. Had he concentrated on  making plans to feed the poor than in trying to be a " world Leader" where he crashed anyway, things would have been better.  ! I am a nationalist and travel abroad and I have been asked these questions. Its not good to be an ostrich.  I maintain India just cannot match a country in sports with tiny countries of 4/5 million despite 1200 million. Who is responsible?   You are right. While it is true that there are certain achievements in the arena of Sports and Games, it's a pittance, for a Nation of 1.2 Billion of population. When the question of Who is responsible arises, there are several reasons like too much of political interference is one of the causes for the sorry state of affairs in Sports arena. Lack of infra structure is another reason. Due to this, an aspiring Sportsman cannot prepare to take part in International level of competitions. Abhinav Bindra, the only individual Gold medalist  from India went to Germany for his training. Sadly the Congress party which ruled India for 60 years was only nterested in vote bank politics than in food and health followed by sports.

Where is the courageous step in giving something that would have made this nation much more secure simply to please the then 8% of the population? It shows him as a dithering leader who not only was not capable of taking any firm decisions good for the country but made sure that no one else did so as long as his party was in power and now things have become so bad because of their communal policies that it is an uphill task. But, no matter what I sincerely hope that Modi gets to rule for at least 2 more terms to undo all the wrong doings of the previous governments.. We have had enough of the so called democratic, psuedo secular rules .. http://india.wikia.com/wiki/Uniform_civil_code

I have stated that Nehru wanted a Uniform Civil Code but could not do so because of opposition. He did it for Hindus. Instead of praising him for this courageous step you enjoy condemning him. You should condemn the PMs who followed him till date for lacking courage. Nehru's action was not final. It can be done today also. Let it be done muslims or no muslims.Have guts do it.

Yeah, there are many students who go for the tuition 3-5 times a day. i have seen many friends of mine who have separate tuition for each and every subject, which makes the heavy burden on their head I pity the child who is sandwiched between the parental pressures and Educational institute's pressure. In these conditions, when the child gets time look beyond the texts and when the child gets time for playing ?

When the intent of the opposition is to malign Modi and his government is very clear, there is no need to bother about oppositions. Modi is one leader who knows much about the Opposition parties than anybody else. He is very clear about his Mission.  None can stop this Juggernaut.

Even if the water that will be utilised for IPL cannot be used for drought affected regions, it is still a crime to waste water in such a way when it is clear that the needs of common people and farmers is far more greater than cheap entertainment. And where there is a true and sincere will to help others, there is a way as is evident from the fact that Maharashtra CM Fadnavis arranged for a special water train brought in from Rajasthan which was filled with 5 lakh liters of water in Miraj and sent to Latur which is affected severely with drought. http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/politics-and-nation/first-train-carrying-five-lakh-litres-water-reaches-drought-hit-latur/articleshow/51787768.cms Instead of wasting precious water on such cheap and vulgar displays of wealth, it would be better used to water dying crops and animals instead. The BCCI Na IPL is so flushed with funds that apparently they have been buying water from tankers from wells, wasting precious water...all that talk about treated water is just that ! The court has noted down all these details and also said that it is better to shift the jamborie elsewhere. In a country hit by one of the worst droughts ever, is there a need for this? At present most of part of India is facing water crises. It may serious in some region. At present cost of 1 bucket water in Shimla is 100Rs. In that respect, we in AP, except Telengana are lucky, We do not have any water scarcity. Let IPL be shifted to Vizag, We also have any problem of water but I never suggest that IPL shifted to Sriganganagar. Some matches of Pune shifted to Moholi. Nice decision. Already Bombay High Court has ordered BCCI to shit all the IPL Matches from Maharashtra to some other places. But BCCI is also facing trouble to find out such a place, where the water scarcity is not there. Now, BCCI is constantly shifting the venues from one place to other. The way in which things are going, it seems IPL will be stopped once and for all for this year.

When a leader is popular but the opposition and its supporters insist on twisting facts and make it look as if Modi is not a popular leader, they need to be told what facts are so that they stop such anti and false propaganda ..

The fact of the matter was that Nehru did not bring in Uniform civil code because  of musilm opposition... http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/68-years-after-Independence-consensus-on-uniform-civil-code-remains-elusive/articleshow/49397679.cms

@MGSingh asks why detractors are concerned about his popularity. That is not true. It is the bhaktas who periodically raise it and repose their confidence in their choice. He is elected for five years then why every month it has to be stated again and again that he is the most popular leader. He is. No doubt about it.  If you do not want to see if you will not see sychphancy. It is very much there but you chose not to see it.

It is a trversity of truth to say that Nehru was not champion of uniform civil code. The truth is he was but had to setle only for Hindu Code bill due to opposition from within his own party also. Being a democrat he accepted. You may not like the man that is your personal choice but do not rob him of his credit and deny the truth. In doing so a very low attitude comes out . As  a teacher you must support the truth irrespective of personal bias. Goa continued the Portugese common civil code and for that they should be complimented. One more plus point they had was the population was already used to a common civil code.Who is stopping BJP from bringing  Common Civil Code Bill. Let her do so and stop blaming.

It would be suicidal if Modi's capabilities and abilities are underestimated. Ask those communal parties and their supporters, if at all they are surviving.
