It is ok to report the incident because the girl too has rights. she can also think of taking this incident as a challenge and decide to reduce her weight which would help her remain fit and healthy in the coming years. I read somewhere that people weighing beyond a certain weight limit will have to pay more depending in their extra weight
In fact , such an incident happened in the USA where a very fat passenger was disallowed to board a flight because he was occupying too much space thereby inconveniencing the passenger sitting next to him. It makes sense because every passenger has the right to travel in comfort for which they have paid. the airlines on the other hand will have to look at possibilities where they can either charge the fat passenger more and provide a bigger seat to them or charge for two seats and let them use two seats..

I agree, Man Singh was like Robin Hood. I read his biography. So many times he gave dowry for poor girls.
I too read about Man Singh long ago. That's why I referred his name. But an esteemed member did not understand.
Gentlemen took birth in every era and also in future. Man singh was also one of them.
One cannot kill and loot and justify it with social service..One has to face repercussions for one's act and thats how justice works for all people, so why should it be different for some people, who have actually taken lives and looted and caused untold miseries to the families simply because they lead a double life of loot, kill and social service !

The previous government had money for everything but for essentials like sports. If you see today's news report, Priyanka Vadra is in the news for asking and getting a rent of her asking Rs 8800 for a Rs53,000 bunglow in Delhi in 1997. The property is worth several lakhs in rent no. She has gobbled up the money and is now building a huge bunglow, got after many laws and rules were bent to accommodate her. When Naxalism was rampant in the undivided state of AP, the then Govt offered many rehabilitation programmes for those who come forward to join the Mainstream. Many came forward giving up Naxalism. One of them happened to live in my area. His ambition was to live a peaceful life and do social service to the Society. But the people around did not stop looking at him suspiciously. The transformed man was insulted and rebuked in every stage of day to day activities. He was denied even the Ration supplies. It took a long time for this ex Naxalite to lead a normal life.

So do not confuse others saying water was brought from Rajasthan!
@ Usha, I agree with you, there is no need for IPL, already enough water has been wasted on T20 matches. Not just in Maharashtra, these should be permitted anywhere in country at least until the monsoons start.
Now the Panni league consisting BCCI, IPL and others invlved including the state government which was not sure whose side to take have been asked to move the IPL elsewhere . If they bring it here to Karnataka there will be civil war ! As of now there is not a single state that can afford to waste water and make the IPL leagues richer by a few crore rupees. They should think of closing down ..
I agree Usha! If the IPL is canceled this year no one is going to die of hunger. People who suggest that IPL should not suffer losses should take the matches to their home town and supply all water needed, we do not want to give our water to cheap entertainment, this is my state, my people and I don't enjoy watching such cheap watches for the sake of few moments of worthless excitement!
Scourge will not come if IPL canceled this year. BCCI have enough funds to bear loss. It is time to set priority, life of peoples or cheap entertainment. Rajasthan have also water crises in some parts. In coming government supply their water by trains.
Latest news is, the IPL matches which were scheduled to be played in Maharashtra will be shifted to Vizag in AP. Andhra Cricket Association requested the BCCI to shift some of the matches to be held in Vizag and the BCCI agreed.
