Shampa Sadhya replied to the topic Is there any automatic online tool available to check duplication of article in whole blog?.
I feel if you are interested to check someone else's work then you need to go through this process but about one's own write-up there is absolutely no need. The writer's conscience is the best judge in that case. Points on any subject can be similar which is quite natural but presentation is bound to differ and that makes for a genuine write-up

Some private colleges wanting to cut down on staff expenditure , just to keep to the standard student/teacher ratio enroll some retired and well known professors as honorary lecturers. They are paid a smaller sum compared to what a regular professor gets and get to do nothing except go for invigilation and guest lectures once or twice a month. Everyone is happy in this situation but it also shows how our education system works..
Agree, honorary lectures have become very common in today's educational system. It's win win situation for both the side, retired people can make some money only for tutoring twice or thrice a month and schools and colleges can save money on full time teacher or professor. Here only one who suffers are students, they don't know whom to contact in case if they have any query with respect to particular topic.
That's the whole point, it is a nexus between the school and college management and the tuition institutions. The lesser the studies at school the more chances of the students going for tuition. So, the teachers and lecturers are getting double pay , at their school or colleges and tuition institutes. The one good thing here is that senior lecturers have an opportunity to work after their retirement.
I know a teacher and another a Professor of a reputed university who neither took private tuitions during their job nor after retirement. Both of them feel that its against principle. They can still earn a lot but not ready to compromise.
Definitely there are people who stick to their principles. Mu own uncle , a retired teacher never agreed for tutions. He was really a great teacher and is known for his excellent teaching methods. Many rich people offered my uncle very high fees to teach their children in his leisure time. But he politely refused them.

The whole country is reeling with water shortage with some areas so badly hit that they use any water they get for drinking but do our leaders care ? We had a minister get the helipad drenched in Latur, which is one of the worst hit areas. In Karnatalka which is facing severe water shortage, the CM is all ready to welcome IPL, does not matter if they have to waster a few lakh liters of precious water. The ministerial bunglows are kept cool and green by watering the lawn all through the day using sprinklers.
In UP it was Akilesh Yadav who was seen having water strewn on helipad to keep it nice and cool! It is the same with Chandra Babu Naidu the CM of Andhra Pradesh has always been insensitive , be it spending astronomical sum on his personal vehicle or have grandoise plans for a new capital, now insists that helipad be kept watered so that dust does not get into his eyes and AP too is facing terrible water shortage. But do these ministers care? Honestly each one of these insensitive ministers regardless of what party they belong to should be shown the door .

In 2008 itself Lt.Col Purohit was arrested and kept in Jail for 5 years without trial. When an Army Court conducted an investigation and found that Lt. Col Purohit was not guilty. But the then Congress Govt did not care about the findings of the Army investigation.

Going by all the news that is coming out one can conclude that Congress is a party with absolutely no ethics. This is something I have seen in my own area where the MLA and the corporators do what they want with least regard for people. They have no respect for public property. Now it comes to light that the Malegaon blasts were another manipulation by the Congress just to defame RSS and BJP. Now more facts are coming out to show that it was indeed Pak terrorists.I wonder how much lower a party can sink?

But now being accustomed to watch him, I feel normal on seeing him.
Obese people are seen normally everywhere may be someone is less obese and another abnormally obese. If one gets amused seeing an obese man, its not very bad. It's bad to stare at an obese man without batting an eyelid, and behaving rudely making mockery is certainly objectionable and should be condemned.

Situations and context make a big difference, During my College days, I had friend. He was too fat. He was well known as Motu Mohan in our friends circle. Mohan never took seriously when we call as Motu Mohan. The same Mohan got offended when, a Girl student from other class laughed at him showing Mohan to her friends. Mohan complained to the principal. After that, the Girl was reprimanded by the principal

There is one more avenue for retired professors and lecturers , which I find quite ridiculous.

Asmi Shah who was insulted by the Auto driver, doesn't have any right to pass snide comments on Asmi's fatness. Autos can refuse to fat people on any other reasons like hiking the price or any other reason. But cannot ridicule or heckle the passenger's body condition.
Auto driver have not right to hike fare. He also can not refuse but he can say that if passange can ride in auto than he have no problem.
Yes. Saying , that the Passenger cannot avail the services, as he's not going in the route asked by the passenger. This would have been OK instead of insulting the passenger.
Yes no one have right to comment and insult for the body shape or any other physical disability. When some one comments about these we are disappointed and helplessness. It is harshment.
It is cruel to make fun of people because they are fat, deformed ,dark or ugly ! But this happens all the time, is glorified in our films where audience laugh when the director makes fun of fat people, deformed people or insults people who are not good looking or at times even those who are old...This attitude comes from the society and the auto driver is part of that society. The girl of course has revolted rather than put up with it, which is good !
Yes I am agree with you, I was also laugh many time of fat charcter of movies, Tuntun is famous one. But aim of director and actor are that viewers laugh on them. It is not fare in real life. But time is changed. How many were laugh on heroin of Dum Laga Ke Hai Sa. I like this film and actress as well.
Yes Tun Tun used to be a great comedian and I guess we all laughed her antics more than her girth. There was another very fat actor who has acted in many Nasir Hussain films with Shammi Kapoor and Joy Mukherji ...In Teesri Manzil there is a scene where he is travelling n the train with Asha Parekh and Shammi Kapoor and Asha Parekh calls him Yeh Mote.. I feel it is because we dont think f these characters as real that we laugh at them but the impression may carry forward in some people even in real life too , where they think of fat people people as figures of fun
