Sky is no more a limit for anyone  to soar up to any heights. yeah people can only be able to achieve if they want to and if they don't then there is no one in this world who can force anyone to do that sort of a thing which one's don't want to do .

It is fair neither to Nehru nor to Modi to compare them. Nehru was first post independence P.M.  He is rightly known as architect of India. But I feel that giving asylum to Dalai Lama was a bad policy. even if Asylum is justified on humanitarian ground, it makes no sense to permit Dalai Lama to install a govt. in exile at Dhramshala (H.P.) and propagate against China.  This bad decision might have resulted in war in 1962.

yeah very true, there are no politicians who want to insert his own hands into mud because they know that if they want to eradicate then they have to face many problems which will be put in front of him by the big officials.

only in one point Nehru is better than Modi, but i think that modi is the best prime minister that this country ever have and his ideas are the tremendous work which are seen in his face.

I think this is a wake up call, but whether we respond to it wisely, is the question. Yes Kalyani, I too would think this is a wake up call and unless all people do their bit, things will only become worse in the future. Deforestation is the single most factor besides our own greed for building superstructures that are anything but environmental friendly. I hope t least now our leaders realise the importance of living in harmony with nature rather than go against it.. I doubt that a lot, otherwise the authorities would never have given permission to construct buildings that are covered with aluminium frames and glass frames that heat up the buildings inside and outside so much that they become giant guzzlers of both electricity and water resources to keep them cool inside. Such buildings are a necessity in European countries with cooler climates but are built here in India just for the sake of impression and maintain outward appearances without thinking how much wastage of utilities occur due to them.

Of course, not just Indians, it is everywhere in the world, latest fad being too much obsession with self that causes people to take their selfies in the most dangerous and treacherous places killing them instantly!

It is not as if Modi government has not tried but the armymen are stubborn about their demands. In any kind of negotiation there should be give and take and willingness to compromise. The Police and para military forces too have a very risky job but they continue in service much longer unlike armymen who are forced to retire at 36 . However, the government has made changes but a few not are arm twisting the government . This government has certainly done much better giving in to their demands unlike the previous one, so no comparison with Nehru o any of the past leaders. This is not a black mark on Modi or BJP but goes to show the stubborn and unreasonable demands of army personnel and believe me most civilians see it that way !
