Absolutely, men do not hesitate to demand dowry and see, those women who get married to such men wilfully, is really a pathetic state. The ladies enjoy luxury such as expensive car and all with their respective husbands at the cost of the biological family's expense. I pity these ladies and have no words to describe the so called educated men who take dowry.    Recently there was a cricket player who was proudly displaying the Audi car or some other car given to him by his would be father in law. Giving a gift is of course personal choice the father in law may be a very rich person and may want to share part of his wealth with his daughter. But making a show of it and advertising it only sends the wrong signals and the fellow came in for a lot of negative criticism n twitter and elsewhere .. If father wants to share his wealth with his daughter, what is wrong in it. On one hand we are talking equal right for female. on other hand we are saying that it is wrong to give gifts in marriage to daughter. If son have right of wealth of his father why daughter have not?

They need to be arrested and dealt with.No better place than Arthur Road or Tihar Jail.   History repeats itself. Those Mir Jafars and Jaichands of the bygone days appeared in the form of Sonias and Manmohans now and looted the country as much as they could and still their thirst for further looting is not satiated. These  anti Nationals should be  driven away from this country It is surprising and shocking for me that Manmohan Sing was involve in this scam. It is my opinion that if he was done some wrong, that was only for super lady and his son.

Akil, there is more than enough evidence for those who are not biased for Devi bakths who would rather become deaf and blind, nothing seems enough, so there is n point in  wasting time but on such people... The Italian Judge who was interviewed by the media had some very interesting things to say about the matter, those interested can get the whole interview online..

We must have social change and not only for Hindu women but also for Muslim women and obnoxious facets of personal law like Triple talq abolished. If society changed, I think no need of law.

He is the typical modern day writer like it was with James Hadley Chase or Mills and Boons romantic novel writers in the west.. You are right that Chetan Bhagat has read the mind of the youths very well. He believes in being saleable author so has opted that very writing skill. His work can be easily made into films and certainly it's profitable. Films also made on novels of Gulshan Nanda, but he was never accepted as great writer. Kati Patang, Naya Zamana and some more.

What were they doing all this time if facts were known even to you. Is it possible for members of site to give evidence in this high profile case. All discussion is based on newspaper and other source of news. Today I also read that Tyagi accept his relation with some companies.

If proper care is taken it is not impossible to have both, commercial complexes and water storages It is right rain water harvesting is only solution of water problem. If we ignore it we will face water problem every years. Rain harvesting is tradition of Rajasthan. Here it is called "kunds". Read some more about rain water harvesting system of Rajasthan. http://www.rainwaterharvesting.org/Rural/traditional1.htm

It is plus point for us that we have not water problem. Quite amazing. Despite severe summer, and soaring mercury levels, you don' have water problem. In my state, even though the temperature is not very high, we have  Water problems. Of course after we started Rainwater Harvesting, our ground water situation is likely to improve. Yes we have not any problem of drinking water and for other personal use. But here at present water is not available for farming. It may be after 10 days.

Do give an example, I would like read a few such books!   The Book is written by Md. Hashim in 4 parts. This book is published only with an intention of spreading the importance of English language. The Author has included etymology and origin of words, some Sanskrit words which became a part of English, Idioms etc in this Book. Long ago someone has presented it to me. The first page of the Book was torn. I thought of giving you at least the Publisher's name so that you can try to get a local Book seller.

MG Singh wrote: The present Congress party is not the same as the one tat fought the English rule under Gandhi. This is a decrepit old party which just wants to cling to power by hook or crook. In the bargain, they want to live an opulent life at the cost of the Public. Indian prestige and power have no meaning for them. Sadly this slide commenced during the last tenure of Indira Gandhi and gathered momentum under Sonia and her running dog Man Mohan Singh( Running dog is a Chinese proverb) I think a British or American newspaper called him Sonia's poodle if I am not mistaken.. Even they had judged that he was a weak Prime Minister especially selected because of his timid nature which proved to be dangerous for the country from the look of it.

usha manohar wrote: I wish the youngsters spent more time playing rather than watching hich is why we see obesity , diabetes and many their ailments among the student crowd. In their exaggerated interest in watching a game they also lose their social and civic sense which is evident in some of comments I read on the on going controversy about the IPL matches being played in Maharashtra where 75,000 liters of water is being used to keep the lawns green every single day .On the other hand farmers ,villagers and people from smaller towns wait for hours together to get just a pot of water. ..I am all for banning such money spinning matches that do nothing for people or our economy except fill the pockets of a few and make idiots of our young crowd .. Exactly my sentiments, cricket in my opinion, is a rather mindless game where unnecessarily huge amounts of money is wasted, and hundreds and thousands of people waste time watching a handful earn millions of dollars of money. Especially the children who should be playing other more fun games where both brains and stamina are tested, instead waste time playing cricket where more often than not, culminates in violent fights! Also, some people, may feel that banning IPL may not improve conditions of drought-affected villages, but what is significant is that a strong message is passed to the people across the country that people are more important than cheap IPL shows, which is more important and relevant to me. Water saved from stadiums may not reach the drought-affected people, but the message that our priorities should be different does get across to some people at least.
