There is absolutely no doubt that Armed forces are the backbone of our country and they should be looked after well, both while in service and after ..However, this issue is not a new one, has been there during the previous so many decades. From what I read and perceive talks are on and I guess both sides should take a step forward. What happens in the US is a different matter and it may or may not happen , however, even there the armed forces do have dissatisfaction and the general feeling is that they don't get enough for the service rendered like here !

Why should anyone bluff. What is to be gained. I saw the interview on either India Today or Newsex or Aajtak in the morning and then left home.I wanted to present this view point also in the forum because it is media which is presenting this view also for a healthy debate. But you are so fixated that it is either BJP or nothing else. Why must you be abusive and call people all sort of names and adjectives. It shows lack of oroper upbringing and lack of right values. You come out as a dandy.

Now, in this Mango season, Calcium Carbide is used to ripen the mangoes. . Using artificial colorants, for vegetables is an old story. Every time such cases are brought in to light, there will be hue and cry for some time and then subsides.

I am sure many would want to question the valiidity of the report since there is a BJP MP involved and the state is ruled by Congress party...If the same thing had happened in a BJP ruled state, probably the intellectual brigade would have become active on the twitter or rummaging their cupboards for their old awards , just in case ..
Two news reports - one on the incident and another video on the temple cleansing by the authorities because Dalits entered the temple with the BJP MP..

Here is the reason. Archimedes principle says when a body is partly or totally immersed in a fluid, there is an upthrust that is equal to the weight of the fluid displaced.
