Switzerland is definitely a little piece of heaven on earth and it cannot get better than that . But weather except during the shoot summer can be a dampener to those who have glorious sunshine all through the year , other than that , they really look after their citizens well!

I know Kalyani, if they could do that there , one can imagine what happens here, we can make out by the news reports of foreign women being raped and molested at regular intervals.
One more very annoying habit Indians have when they travel in groups is the way they call each other, laugh loudly and go out of their way to attract attention, quite cheap and undignified!!

"Sarve Jana Sukhino Bhanthu". Let all the people live in happiness was mentioned in Upanishads. The Swiss Government follows it in letter and spirit. Switzerland features a system of Government not seen in any other Nation. Its aim and objective is offering welfare and security to its subjects. This is what Modi Government emphasized in Saharanpur, UP, while speaking in a rally to mark completion of two years of his Government. I wish him all success in making this country an ideal and exemplary democracy.

It is the horrible choice of words you use to condemn those who do not hold similar views that is cause of pain and concern. But you will not agree as usual but pontificate and pontificate.

Jungle Raj was a word coined by Congress and Nitish Kumar in 2003 - 2005 when Lalu and Rabri managed to do the impossible, taking the state economy into negative and the lawlessness and crime was so pervasive that people feared to visit Bihar. Of course now they have all become pals and when Modi and BJP used the word, everyone challenges him forgetting that Bihar was a Jungle Raj once and now when similar incidents of lawlessness surface it is but natural that people call it so..People do have short memories often forgetting what they uttered a decade back !
Only to be expected ! The same people who bled the country dry by leaching all the wealth they could all these decades are now trying desperately to build cases of corruption against the now ruling party, forgetting that they have done so for more than six decades. A case of short-term amnesia most likely!

True...it all fits in with Indian travellers, especially the last one about the men staring hard at skimpily clad women! It is the most disgusting thing the others have to put up with Indians!

When I went through the write up , I couldn't stop laughing because every single point is so true, most e Indians tend to stand out like sore thumb, while visiting other countries, embarrassing everyone around them. Totally unaware of the negative impression they create.

Switzerland is probably the most democratic and perfect nations in the world today. the major concern that people and the leaders have is to make their country safe and peaceful. Crime rate in Switzerland is very low because of the strict measures they take , totally disregarding any other factor except what benefits the country and its citizens the most , they also have a large number of naturalised muslim immigrants who have been living there for generations like us... I wish other countries, especially our own followed suit rather than appeasing some and condemning others for their own selfish interest !
Muslim school students in the Swiss canton of Basel cannot refuse to shake hands with their female teachers on religious grounds, otherwise their parents will face fines, local authorities have ruled.
According to the department, if students refuse to shake hands, it means that they involve others “in a religious act.”
“The social gesture of a handshake is important for the employability of the students later in their professional lives,” it said.

usha manohar replied to the topic Google ads are not shown on my blog!.
The type of ads and the space where it needs to be placed within your blog etc is decided by you and unless you physically do it by going into your adsense account, the ads dont show on your blog and unless the ads come on you dont earn, it is as simple as that. I have a blog since 8 years and have google ads on it which I sometimes change just so that they are placed strategically to attract more traffic. Ads come on depending on the content of your blog !

There are some who are famous for stubbornly sticking to their view point even when they are wrong ...However, the more different view points the better for any discussion ...there is no point in sticking to one view point and going round in circles !
