True...maybe ! But is it really necessary or vital to put the kids up to such fierce competition at such tender young age. Isn't it more necessary to focus on making them more sensitive and responsible instead of just scoring marks?

There have been many debates about this and I recently saw a discussion on an Arab channel Al zaeeera where educationists shared different view points. Chinese beat Indians in this because they are extremely competitive and in their bid to become world leaders they leave no stone unturned and believe in starting young. the children are mentally tortured and terrorised as seen in some videos that are there on youtube . I guess Indians are going to same way..Personally I feel that the more relaxed the home and school atmosphere is the better students perform and become better individuals. Afterall a complete personality is not just about getting top marks and knowing your grammar and spelling. From what I have seen most f the students who get ranks in SSLC and Pre University are way down when it comes to competitive exams where common sense and intelligence is far more important than mere mugging..I always advise my students to take part in everything possible that interests them , be it debating, dramatics, music or whatever takes their fancy rather than limit themselves just to studies and study relate topics and interests !

Its OK if some one not want to believe on the facts that our ancestors have told us after year of their experience. Some of the rules told by our ancestors were based on scientific reasons. But in the name of modernization some people don't want to follow rules, they think themselves above all rules and regulations and finally pay for it.

I was reading somewhere that the freebies have made Tamils of that class into lazy persons who hardly work. Labor has to be imported from other states to fill the "Amma" created vacuum. After all one needs to earn only Rs 20 or thirty and then go to Amma centres for food at one or two rupees. All so that she continues in power. She is smart for herself not the state.

How will it help if your suggestion is accepted? Let us be reasonable. We should not condemn the whole system for the misconduct of a few. Every state has such frauds.

I have a suggestion. Why spend so much money, time and energy on education when even top performer is so ignorant. Why not close the universities campus! Just print degrees and distribute to all aspirants. After all such degrees are just sold.

But what is definition of insult. There is no unanimity on it. One should not be crude and lewd and hit below the belt. But some amount of insult is needed in stand up comedies.

Gulshanji rightly said that no government officer should indulge in writing or expressing his views on media or net. In this particular case IAS officer in MP, Ajaysingh Gangwar posted in FB calling for a people's revolution against PM, Narendra Modi. This is a clear cut violation of the rule Public servants should not express their views taking sides publicly or on the net.

Having reached a certain level in politics it hardly matters if one has a fake or real degree. They would still be the same if they had either of them.

The IAS are generally neutral in expression of their political affiliations. It is only a few who see opportunities in siding with ruling party which give a bad name to the fraternity.

Many of these families pay for getting such results so that tey can get fat dowry's for their sons. I knew a reluctant student in my post graduate class from Andhra Pradesh who said his father pushed him so that he can get a higher dowry. So reasons can vary. Yes it also is an indicator of the rot in education system. Lalu's son has also not studied beyond school and is a minister. Recently many in the forum supported less educated persons becoming ministers and @Rambabu was one of them.

@manoj, it is your choice to believe what you want to believe. Just because it is written in the internet does not mean it is to be accepted verbatim as some do and then start supporting by ridiculous correlations between yoga and Ayurveda and what not. Every time it is "may" cause has it caused. Is there proof that is what should be the question to ask about such theories.

Lalu is the incarnation of corruption. In general education standards gone down allover the country.. But Bihar is the worst as far as education is concerned.Bihar was never known for good education standards..This what happens, when the State is lead by corrupt leaders like Lalu.
