rambabu answered the question Good Telugu movie.
K. Viswanath, Balachandran and ManiRatnam movies are the best Movies in Telugu. All these Movies are both entertaining and though provoking.

The reason for having  slanting roofs in the Hilly regions is, these regions experience severe rainfall all over the year. In order to allow the rainwater flow away, the roofs are slant. Otherwise, the roof collapses.

Gotra means clan. It broadly refers to people who are descendants in an unbroken male line from a common male ancestor. Marriages within the same Gotra are prohibited.

Up to you. I had given the appropriate links. I will not further add anything in this regard. What I wanted to state has been stated in clear and uncertain terms. It's only to take the discussion further. Anyhow, i would wait for other opinions from the Forum members too.

First of all this is the first time I have heard about homework being a burden because homework is an extention of studies to keep the students alert and it is a part and parcel of curriculum all over the world. What Amartya Sen has said is to overhaul the entire study process which is not possible in the near future. He himself was/is part of the existing education system and come out of it with great laurels. There could be cases where some lazy teachers over burden the students with work that they ought to be doing at school, but home work itself is an essential part of studies. I remember the benefits of homework during my student days since it made me remember what I studied with clarity .

I guess we all on this forum by now know about Ayurveda and its benefits too, also about water therapy which says nothing about drinking water while standing so no point in providing links that do not help the discussion nor prove anything about the subject on hand other than go round discussing aimlessly !

There are times when any dutiful action by the government personnel is put under a scanner because the state government is hand in gloves with the perpetuaters of the crime like it happened recently in Karnataka where a very committed lady DSP Anupama Shenoy was targeted for stopping a liquor baron and his goons from encroaching on public land. http://www.deccanchronicle.com/nation/in-other-news/050616/karantaka-top-cop-anupama-shenoy-who-put-minister-on-hold-hangs-up-boots.html

Such type of people should be put behind jail and his all videos should be banned in public. yeah he should be jailed because he abused two GODS of our country.   Arrey dont burden them with such titles because it is not easy to be a God in this country..however, Lata Mangeshkar does not seem too bothered about the issue as one can see by her response. I too personally feel that , the fellow should be warned against taking liberties and making distasteful jokes. I don't see why he should be jailed when politicians hurl so many abuses at each other and still go scot free.  http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/hindi/bollywood/news/Has-Lata-Mangeshkar-finally-responded-on-the-Snapchat-controversy/articleshow/52518821.cms?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=TOI   Lata Mageshkar is too busy and occupied with her own business to pay any attention to such trivial and insignificant issues. The likes of Tanmay Bhatt should not be given so much attention by the media and the people. However, his video should be blocked and he should be made to pay heavy fines and leave it at that. The country and the state has too many other more important issues to deal with than Bhatt and his cheap jokes and people too should mind their own, more important business. This kind of publicity will only make him more famous. That is true, he needs to draw line at some stage if he wants popular support for his art. However, this issue made me think of what happens in other countries,,even in a tradition bound place like Britain people openly poke fun at the royalty...On channel 4 of British television, I remember they had a comedy section where cartoons depicting the Queen and the royal family would be shown regularly but it was more funny than crude and insulting . Once apparently the queen had made an observation to her staff about Apples being very expensive and the media would never stop hitting out at her because at that stage the Royal family never paid any taxes and enjoyed a luxurious life at the tax payers benefit, and the  taxation system there is extremely demanding and through for the rest of the citizens. The outcome of all those many attacks, which were done in a very humorous manner, although sending a strong message , was that prince Charles on his own decided to pay tax for his income and so all the other royals  had to join in too except the Queen since she cannot tax herself.. I think that is constructive outcome of intelligent comedy !

Yoga which is a part of Ayurveda includes water therapy too. Drinking water while standing and the ill effects of it  is nothing but a part of Ayurveda.

The article only speaks about the benefits of Yoga which everybody knows , so no point in bringing yoga into this discussion, and the article has nothing to say about drinking water while standing, which is yet to be proven medically or scientifically...Until now , noone has any valid explanation for this, so we cannot believe in anything blindly without solid proof !

It is amazing to see the level of awareness among the citizens of Switzerland. Recently one fraction of the leaders wanted to implement a basic income to all its citizens whether they work or not amounting to $2500 . Since the law there is to have a public referendum where all the citizens vote before passing a law, this too was taken to the public. And the proposal was voted out because they want to earn their living rather than get freebies from the state !!! Honestly just imagine what would have happened back here ... http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/002af908-2b16-11e6-a18d-a96ab29e3c95.html#axzz4AlhxnzDB

Homework  is certainly a burden on the tender shoulders of a child. It's acts as a deterrant to the child's development. Here is an interesting article' http://www.dnaindia.com/speak-up/report-homework-necessity-or-burden-1326140

Babu saroj wrote: i think his words against Modi made him face lots of problem now because presently now the Modi is in power and he is very much popular around. The concerned person involved is an IAS officer. There is a rule that Government employees are not supposed to talk on public platforms or write in Social Media or Print media. This IAS officer blatantly violated this rule and I feel, he deserves it.

Yoga is a an integral part of Ayurveda. having recognized the importance the importance of Yoga, United nations General Assembly Yoga Day, which is celebrated all over the world annually on June 21. When Yoga is recognized, its not necessary to Ayurveda. It is implied, Ayurveda is equally important as Yoga.
