I support @Usha's view point. Longevity of tradition is no guarantee of its efficacy. In age of science proof is a must for all theories.

These are essential for country's defence capabilities and are outcome of decades of work put in at all levels especially defence and nonpartisan political support.

I don't think politicians are that bad because I have heard very good statements coming from different politicians but some of them speak without knowing their facts.  i think having political background is not crime but doing something in politics which harms the poor people is not good and whereas about joining, yeah there are lots rumours around us that we shouldn't for politics so give me one answer if we all will reject us from going into politics then who will run the country, who will oppose the running government.

Of course, the other things like healthy food habits are strictly adhered to. We together avoided Red meat, deep fries, though we are non Vegetarians by birth.  Because we get plenty of Sea and river fish, we eat fish for their Antioxidants. women which are living is rural are never does any exercise. There household and other work is their exercise. Non vegetarian or vegetarian food it is matter of choice. vegetarian food is also rich with antioxidants. Agreed. Some Vegetables too  are rich in antioxidants like strawberries, walnuts etc. But , as i said, Fish are abundantly available here. hence we in the coastal regions prefer Fish. here in west bengal there are so many houses where fish is cooked regularly because as we all know that Bengali likes to eat fish and there are variety of products which they make from fish, i mean different recipes

We agree because we dont want to go against them. However, I have questioned many practices and argued against some and they do listen and give their version...also willing to change  if they felt there was no validity !

Traditions and customs may have some validity but many of them like the Sati system, blind superstitious practices carry on simply because they have been done so for centuries. So, in our own interest it is always better to test something thoroughly before validating it as fact, that's how science works as we all know. There are scientific truths behind some age old practices but many of them get carried forward without any factual evidence simply because our elders told us so.

Diplomatic matters cannot be revealed before it reaches its conclusion, am sure a lot of ground work has been done to cone this far. But whether we get more benefits out of this had to be seen in the future ..
