As much I know saffron needs chilly weaher during flowering time. I have personally seen the saffron farming in Anantnag district of J&K. But who knows if they have developed a new technique!

If you have faith on Ayurveda or yoga or any such Ancient therapeutic practices, go ahead. No need to look for others approval.
What is Ayurveda? It is nature and we all is part of nature. How some one can we don't believe in Ayurveda.

Here in my area sunflower oil is not common oil. Here mustred and soyabean oil is using by most of peoples. this area is principal produced of mustred seed oil. Here people used mustred oil with little salt for massaging of gums.
It all depends on the availability of raw material for making an oil. As you said, Mustard seeds with which Mustard oil is made must be available abundantly in your region. Mustard oil is also used for massaging in our regions too.here . But Coconut oil is used widely for massaging.
Yes mustred seed in one of the principal commercial crop of Rajasthan. I never saw single tree of coconut in this area. As you know most of Rajasthan is desert area. crop of mustred seed is possible in desert area. It is the reason that mustred oil is principal cooking oil of Rajasthan. Bengali also used mustred seed oil and Rajasthan is big supplier of this oil to Bihar and Bengal.
Coconut trees grow only in tropical climates. Yes you will not find coconut trees in Rajasthan which is mostly a desert. In my state AP especially in my place which is located on Sea shore, we have an abundant growth of Coconut trees. Hence we use coconut oil for massaging.
It is right that Rajsthan have enough desert are, but situation is changing. Cannal water reasched up to Jaisalmer. Rajasthan have different climate in different are. It make possible farming of saffron in Rajasthan.

Hence in this scenario, it's highly essential for a sincere introspection. 2 years out of 5 years already melted away. 2 years is not a small time. Time and Tide will not wait for anybody.Just before our eyes, the remaining 3 years too melt away.
Hence I feel, Modi should hurry up and prove to the electorate of this country that it had really elected a Government which rose up to its expectations. And a Government that really worked for the Nation.
I am agree with you what you write. I think up to some extent Modi proved it that a government is working. Modi ji is doing what he can, but on some points he is also helpless. I think five years in not enough to solve all problems of country and to meet all promise what he made with voters. At present we can satisfied our self that we have an honest and active PM and BJP government is much better than congress.

The question of comparing Modi Government with Congress's erstwhile regime will not arise. Everybody knows the extent of damage caused by Congress during it's regime. What I want to say is , whatever happened, happened. No use in moaning on the past. Now the urgent need is to take this country to the highest levels of Development in all spheres.
I also think that 2 years of Modi's regime is not a small period. Undoubtedly, Modi had several achievements to his credit. But the Country needs more. Keeping this in view, Modi has to speed up his efforts to keep the Nation stable, strong and one of the Developed Nations in the world in this remaining regime of his tenure.
I think Modi is also want to speed up. But India have democracy.Number game playing here vital role. Don't forget helpless ness of Modi on GST bill. It is example.

I have nothing against your praising the BJP govt. But I would like to state that had there been any other party government it would also have done same thing because these are logical steps to be followed up by governments irrespective of which party is in power. The nuclear Bill passed by UPA government was a bold step. Having achieved it joining the NSG is a logical step. I am not trying to dilute BJP, but saying that certain follow up steps are inevitable and necessary. Yes BJP removing hurdles for ease of business is a welcome initiative for which they can take full credit.

I too am a vegetarian and eat sea food and fish , no meat. But I have never had a problem with food because there is such a variety of choice.. In fact I always gain a few pounds because of all the pastries and chocolates and goodies and have to work it out when I get back..
