usha manohar replied to the topic Is there any hope for some changes here .
The remuneration for articles has gone down drastically from what I have seen, so that too is not as attractive as it was before. All that needs to be done is to tighten certain rules with the help of moderators . I feel that people are always attracted to a forum/site that is disciplined and fair to its members. When member/members can manipulate rules to their advantage it gives out wrong signals showing a lax management, which none wants except the few who manipulate ..

Came across this quote from Albert Einstein - "Try not to become a person of success, but rather try to become a person of value."
Charles Darwin - "It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change."
I guess success is not about making money or gaining power or perfection but also about survivial !
These are really nice quotes and very meaningful as well. I always believe success comes after failure. If I want to be successful I must see failures in my life.

I do agree. Without any rigidity, I can be flexible too. Now my response is,
Saffronization talk by the Minister, need not be taken in to account.

No one wants you to change your opinion. I am expressing my opinion. Respond if you like, ignore if you do not like but be flexible.

By advocating globalization the advanced nations were actually wanting less advanced countries to open their markets to their products and services. But the rise of China in the bargain and shifting of jobs to outsourcing has had the opposite effect. So globalisation is good upto a point.

That is exactly the reason why many groups are opposing Yoga, because it is being promoted by Narendra Modi! I admit that because of certain shlokas and chanting Om during some Asanas and Pranayama, it is associated with Hindu religion, but not everyone is required to say those shlokas, just doing the asanas for their benefit is good enough.

The Yoga Day is being celebrated today in my son's school and in many other schools in Pune, but they are going to do so during regular school hours and are not required to be present early or stay back late.
I personally feel that Yoga is much more better and beneficial than the standard PT exercises being taught compulsorily in the schools. Anything that increases flexibility, concentration and physical as well as mental agility should be welcomed with open minds. Why is there such a loud cry against Yoga being taught in schools?

This is probably one activity that will help the students reap health benefits in the long run...However, it is for 9th and 10th students that it is part of the curriculum whereas for others it is for twice or thrice a week ..However, traffic congestion is not an excuse because normally traffic increases after 7 or 8 AM, so starting early to school is actually beneficial to both the student and others who travel later , will see a reduced traffic because of this ..
