Conditions in USA are different.Until yesterday, the performance of Govt. Schools were pathetic.. A change in in this scenario, is commendable. Everybody are looking ahead to see this change remain forever.

I agree that our religion is individualistic and we are destiny believers, but every religion teaches the same thing, that help someone in need, if you help someone now, in future someone will help u out.

Indians are selfish because their religion is individualistic unlike other which are group oriented.This makes them uncaring. Injured people left to die on roads is a growing phenomenon. Worst is people shooting with their mobile a dying person.How sick can it get. We were always like that. No involvement in any activity. DESTINY believers.

I agree with you.. These are very gruesome incidents. And Indians are the most selfish people I have ever seen. People will think 10 times about themselves before making a move to help someone from gruesome attack because they dont want to get involved into cops and court cases etc. And every one thinks in the same way. For such people I always would like to ask a question, would you just sit aside and watch your family member dying or would you make a move to help them? Don't you want your family member to survive? They are ready to do anything for their family but not for some one elses family.

Actually, it's an Indian trait to pass the buck on someone else's shoulder so it's nothing new that we blame politicians for our own heartless behaviour. Today, I read an article regarding the violence that took place after Mrs. Indira Gandhi's death made me feel that if people want then many things can change for the better. Sharing the link:

You mean people have to think when there is a lady bleeding to death ? amazing logic ..If they have any sense they will think " what if that is my daughter or sister or someone close to me ?

Modi is not dictator. Running government is not easy job. BJP also know about about the statement of this leader. It is assured that at right time and at right platform BJP president will warned him.
Most of the BJP members have their base in either RSS or VHP and they lean towards Hinduism which is definitely not a bad thing at all in a country that is predominantly Hindu. The problem comes when they utter their desires of bringing in Hindu culture back into the society which has been divided and redivided over the years based on caste and religion and made so volatile that anything that is natural looks unnatural and inflammatory. However, it is too late and difficult to change things now , so one has to adapt and bring in changes slowly if at all..
You are right most of parties other than BJP talking about peoples of other religions, so what is wrong in it if some one talking about Hindus. But it is also a fact that we can't imagin India without peoples of other religions. They are integral part of our society. In these day I am reading books, authors wrote that 90% Muslims and Sikha are Hindu by birth. Their for father change their religion.

@usha manohar I didn't mean to say that this thread gives me a negative signal but I meant that it's not a positive sign for a site to grow and continue for years and years to come. As you and others expressed your concern regarding the site, it really made me worried too because we all want this site to grow by leaps and bounds.
Thanks a lot for appreciating my threads. I was away for a while but now, I am back. I will definitely participate in forum as well as take interest in beginning meaningful threads.
