MG Singh created new article Sex and abduction crimes are too many in USA and many go undetected.
America was at one time supposed to be the land of milk and honey and every educated Indian wanted to go to the "new world" and settle there. This has not changed, but the new lot are a bit wary of the prevalence of crime particularly with regard to abductions, kidnappings for sex which now dominate the scenario. The worst part of this entire scene is that tens of such crimes go undetected, which is a sad commentary on the efficacy of the FBI and the local US police. It is unfortunate that the FBI which is the nodal agency for an interstate crime like kidnapping and abduction is unable to trace girl victims for years. One wonders as to how an agency with the latest gadgetry is unable to detect such crimes. One could perhaps accept this with a pinch of salt, but the fact that so many girls are missing for years is, to say the least preposterous.
A look at some of the crimes makes sad reading. There was the case of a man, a Hispanic who kidnapped 3 girls and kept them in a small dungeon under his house. The girls were kept secluded as they were used to pleasure the man and he also fathered a child from one of them. The worst thing was that the girls have been kept in a house a little distance from where they were abducted. Only after the passing of a few years one of the girls could escape from the underground chamber and alert the police, who raided the house and arrested the man. What a travesty of the police word, as such an elite force could not discover the girls who were just a few hundred yards from where they were kidnapped. The police have a lot to answer, but in America, nobody is asking any questions of the police and I don't find any NGO or other group posting any questions to the police. This is not an isolated incident, but there are tens of such cases.
Reminds of another case where a 13-year-old was given to a man as compensation for financial favors and he also kept her and another girl for years till a neighbor alerted the police. All have been arrested including the mother of the girl. One wonders whether the police have a mechanism to check houses or only believe in driving round the roads in swank cars or Harley Davidson bikes on the road. They are trigger happy, but their detection of crime is, to say the least poor.
One problem that confronts America is race and the police are severe on the black man, but a white is likely to get away. This is because the US police have racial blinkers. Yet, the rape cases are the highest in the world and so are abductions and kidnappings for sex. Many whites do it and get away for years till the law catches up with them. There needs to be a focused investigation by the police and I have a feeling that after a few months, a kidnapped girls case remains on file as the police go after newer cases. Thus so many kidnappings go unsolved, which does not speak highly of a professional force.
Considering that the US has the largest instances of rape in the world, this apathy and low criminal convictions is again something that has to be explained. Perhaps the approach of the public also needs to change as can be seen by a sentence of 6 months jail for a man. It turned out that the boy was a champion swimmer and that was a condoning factor, which again is very sad. The boy was raping an unconscious girl on the roadside, till passers by apprehended him.I think such cases and convictions contribute more to the crime scenario in the US. This apathy towards rapists and kidnappers has in a way percolated to the police and the result is more unsolved crimes. The case usually becomes just a number in the record books, but the girls life is irretrievably destroyed.
It is about time the US police and public did some soul searching and streamlined their procedures and actions. Let's see if there will be a change, but I doubt it.

MG Singh created new article Yoga and its connection with ESP.
Yoga is an ancient Indian science. One has to call it a science as it is not strictly a sport or a religious activity. It is a discipline with multiple facets and is known to have existed for at least 5000 years or even more. Mention of the various yogic asanas is in the Mahabharata and this vouchsafes the fact that Yoga has been in existence from that age. There are many tales in Hindu mythology that points to saints and men of god having done penance along with yoga and then reached the heights of Olympus. There are reports that these men called Yogis achieved extrasensory powers by harnessing the Yogic energy obtained through various asanas.
The tale of the swami with different hand temperatures
When I was in the USA an interesting tale was related to me. It concerned a swami who had come from India and entered one of the testing laboratories in Florida. The swami sat on a chair and meditated and at the same time held both his palms in front of him. Very soon the scientists observed that one of the palms of the Yogi had begun to get red and became hot while the other cooled down. Thus, the two hands of the swami had different temperatures. Scientists measured the temperature of the hands and could see that there was a difference of over 75 degrees between the two hands. The scientists had no explanation for this phenomenon, but the swami announced that he had mastered this technique through the assiduous practice of Shirsasana or the headstand.
The headstand
The headstand is one of the classical poses among all asanas. It basically means standing on one's head, upside down. The head is placed on a cushion with the arms and the legs pointing upwards. It is the king pose in Yoga and once it is mastered the sky is the limit. It is a difficult pose, but when one has learned it , there is no problem. The headstand has to be done with at least an hour's meditation and when both are added they give excellent results.
Swami Shraddanand
I was keen to learn the headstand and joined the ashram of Swami Shraddanand at Bassein Road close to Bombay. The swami is now no more, but he has left behind committed followers who are backing in the knowledge divulged by the swami. The Swami in his discourses often dwelt on the benefits of the headstand. He said that if a man does the shirsasana for at least an hour every day for 10 years and practices it assiduously followed by two hours of mediation, he was likely to develop ESP. There were some ground rules and that included no intoxicants or consuming meats and a complete celibate life. The swami let all into a secret. As per him once a yogi goes in the advanced state and remains celibate, the Spermatozoa of the man will slowly trickle down the spine to the base of the head and lo and behold at a particular time, he will develop ESP. I can say that I have never experimented with this, but the swami claimed that he had achieved his powers through the shirsasana and meditation. However, I did learn the shirsasana and practice it every day.
Last Word
Yoga has many mysteries and aspects that sometimes are difficult to fathom. As I have written, it also has a spiritual aspect and that is really difficult. It cannot be mastered on its own and will need guidance through a teacher. One should remember that Yoga is also a step in tantra sex and this is well understood even in the west. It was given enlightenment by Acharya Rajneesh and Maharshi Mahesh Yogi.
Yoga is now embraced by the world, at least its physical aspects. There is a world Yoga Day and it is celebrated on the 21st of June every year under the auspicious of the UNO. This year, thousands congregated at Madison Square in New York and by this one can gauge the popularity of this science. In the meantime the spiritual aspects of Yoga also need to be highlighted as it may help reform the American way of life so dominated by gun culture.

Palok Chakraborty created new article Superstitions-mere habits or something more ?.
Webster dictionary defines superstition as a belief or practice resulting from ignorance, fear of the unknown, trust in magic or chance or a false conception of causation. In spite of living in an age of logical reasoning, we all, to a varying extent are susceptible to superstitious beliefs and practices. Viewed from a broad point of view, superstition provides the very basis upon which our religious faiths including the faith in God are based. To put it simply, superstition has become an inseparable part of our diurnal existence.
In ancient times when nature and universe all seemed unintelligible, superstitions not only ruled the day but importantly they also bridged the yawning gap between cause and effect for human beings. However, while we have been able to make sense of much of this universe, a significant portion of it still remains unintelligible and beyond human comprehension. The forces of nature though stand explained, are still not necessarily within our control if recent earthquakes and tsunamis are anything to go by. So, as long as there remains a gap between our intellect and comprehension, superstition will always find its way to cling to something else.
However, it is important to note as well as understand that the array of influences that superstitions wield over our life transgresses the so called man-made barrier of reason and logic and establishes a deep affinity with other concepts - equally illusive and arcane. For example, the idea of fate and coincidence do enjoy a strange rapport with a multitude of superstitions that often get enacted- in our public life- in an endeavour to orchestrate a favourable outcome of things. From a specific point of view that in itself is redolent of superstition, the idea of fate and coincidence do seem interconnected since some coincidences are too coincidental to be accepted with a bucolic naivety. However, our refusal to accept the universe and its workings at its face value does challenge on the contrary the idea of free will and the randomness with which the universe selects its options. So the idea of superstition when viewed and dissected from a broader and transcendental standpoint does seem to disturb and shatter some of our preconceived notions about superstitious beliefs and habits.
However, lack of comprehension does not necessarily justify each and every superstition that we happen to practise in our daily routine. In fact, some superstitions are embedded so deeply in our psyche that they have become an extension to our personality. And any sudden attempt to dislodge them or even to neutralize their influences over us may well prove counter-productive. So, at the end of this piece it can safely be concluded that superstitions to a varying extent are important and still irreplaceable. However, the same cannot be said about each and every superstitious habit. So, in a general sense we should learn to rely more on the merits of reason than the unknown charms of some amulets and talismans.

MG Singh created new article Curtain has gone up and Hillary leads in the opinion polls.
The dust has begun to settle and the stage show has commenced with the curtain going up. The battle lines are drawn and the candidates on the verge of bagging the nomination. The GOP is likely to nominate Donald Trump, never mind that old timers and the caucus don't want him. On the Democrat side, the road to the nomination looks clear for Hillary Clinton who has fended off a serious challenge from Bernie Sanders. The stage is set for a clash between these two challengers. The American political system has a two party system. Theoretically, anyone can stand for the presidency , but all this is an eye wash as outside these 2 mainstream parties, no one stands a chance. For all practical purposes, the clash is only between Donald and Hilary.
Like in India, the election to the presidency is a hot topic and pollsters have a field day informing the opinion of Americans like a barometer. The Gallup polls have opened and show that Hillary has a sizeable lead of 10-12 points over Donald. This result has been latched on by opponents of Trump as a sign that Donald will be defeated at the hustings. They point out that the GOP challenger has the lowest ratings by any candidate during the last 3 elections, lower than Mitt Romney and John McCain. Both these worthies lost the election to President Barack Obama. This is certainly a cause for worry, but not alarming as Donald has not yet pressed the accelerator and is only revving up the engine. Trump has himself stated that he has as yet not launched his campaign.
Donald Trump has to, however, fight hard as big business and wall street are solidly behind Clinton. In addition, she has the support of the blacks and the Hispanics. Donald has to rely only on the extremist whites to sail through. But the whites constitute 72% of the electorate and in case the rightwing whites gather in support for him, he may yet sail through. Another thing readers may well bear in mind that winning the popular vote does not mean winning the presidency. Bob Dole won the popular vote, yet lost to George Bush.
This is because of the peculiar method of choosing the president , which is through an electoral college. Each state has been allotted a certain number of votes as per its size and population. Any candidate who wins the popular vote will be awarded ALL the votes of that state, irrespective that he won by even one vote. Thus, in case a candidate wins some of the big states then his road to the presidency is that much easier. Donald Trump thus has his work cut out and he is likely to press forward his candidature in the midwest and southern states where the GOP has its stronghold. The crucial state of New York is also likely to go in the lap of Donald. Hence, Donald cannot be written off.
As in all elections and that includes India, pollsters are not always right and this projection of Donald trailing, cannot be taken as a gospel truth. Moreover, the public mind is fickle and takes another incident like the one in Florida at the Pulse Night Club to swing the mood of the electorate. Donald is fighting with one arm tied behind his back as his opponents led by Mitt Romney, Ted Cruz, and Kasich has not endorsed him. This shows that the GOP is a divided lot, yet Donald has charisma and that may yet carry the day.
Hillary looks like sailing along smoothly, but she has a congressional investigation on regarding her server and personal emails as well as the fact that she is identified with the years of appeasement of the Obama administration. One can remember her attempt to cover up the Benghazi killings along with Obama and Donald is sure to exploit this incident. His reference to Hillary as "crooked Hillary" shows that it will be a no holds barred campaign that may well decide whether the USA will continue to rule the roost as a world power. To my mind, Hillary looks an unlikely candidate as the supreme commander of the US forces and one wonders what the US serviceman feels about Hillary.

MG Singh created new article It's official: Hillary will clash with Donald .
The American election is a 4-year affair. In addition by an amendment to the US Constitution, an incumbent is restricted to just 2 terms. This is wonderful as it acts as a check to unbridled power. This amendment was passed in the late forties after the demise of Roosevelt the US president who won for a record 4 terms. One wishes that such a proviso can be incorporated in the Indian Constitution as well. The American political world is pretty insular and non-inclusive. There are only 2 mainstream political parties and the choice is just between these two, namely the Republican and the Democratic party. Each of these parties has now finalized their nominees. They will be given the seal of approval at the forthcoming conventions of the respective parties. Barring a miracle the Republican contender is Donald Trump and the Democratic challenger will be Hillary Clinton. The final seal on these two candidates will be in the month of July this year.

Barring a miracle the Republican contender is Donald Trump and the Democratic challenger will be Hillary Clinton. The final seal on these two candidates will be in the month of July this year. There is no bar on any other candidate or anyone standing as an indelendent, but his or hers chances can be desscribed as zero as the American electorate prefers only these two parties.
Donald Trump is a billionaire and a man with strong views. Many in his own party, in particular, the old guard led by Mitt Romney are opposed to him. He looks to divide US society with acerbic comments about Muslims and Hispanics. Muslim extremists are wary of him as he has promised to take the sword into the heart of Islamic terrorism. Hillary is the most conventional politician. She had tried for the nomination in 2008 against Obama but was defeated. She is the wife of Bill Clinton who was president for 2 terms earlier and narrowly missed impeachment for impropriety in the Oval office for having sex with a girl on his staff, Monica Lewinsky. Unfortunately she has a Congressional indictment on using her private emails for official purposes hanging on her head.
The election is a touch and goes affair and though Hillary has a slight lead in the opinion polls, she is yet nowhere home and dry. But it will be, I presume a close election and Donald with his rhetoric is not a pushover. Donald is handicapped as the entire republican caucus is not with him. His rivals from Jeb Bush to Ted Cruz and Kasich have refused to endorse him.Partly this is due the fact that Donald is too dynamic a man and all know that in case he wins the GOP caucus will become a cipher.
What of the American people? I have feeling that the status quo represented by Hillary will be her draw back. I could sense this mood when I was in Chicago last week. Many associate her with indecision and cover-ups like the Benghazi episode that resulted in the killing of the US Ambassador. Donald has tremendous appeal to the white diehard racial supremacist. He won't get the votes of the blacks and Hispanics. It will in all probability be a close affair, but will have a tremendous bearing on the world in the years to come. Perhaps Hindus will be happy if Donald wins and that is the reason, the Hindu Sena held a prayer meeting for the victory of Donald Trump.

MG Singh created new article Two swords do not fit a scabbard: India-China clash has to take place.
China and India never had a contagious border as most of the time Tibet was a buffer state. The British farsighted as ever got their vision of Central Asia to prevail at the Simla conference in 1913, which was attended by representatives of China and Tibet. Thus China was kept away from the Indian border as Tibet was recognized as an independent state. However there is no denying the fact that Tibet for long was coveted as a part of China and the Chinese at various periods in History did have suzerainity over Tibet.
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in his monumental work " Discovery of India " has opined that that two great powers can never live in peace when they exist adjacent to each other. He has also written that a strong China has always been an expansionist China. Nehru's fears about China were proved true as the Chinese occupied Tibet and incorporated it as a part of China. This made China border abut India. . The Chinese communist party wore the cloak of nationalism and claimed all areas which at one time were part of Tibet and had been ceded to the British. The Chinese pointing to the ills of imperialism claimed the entire Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh as part of China. Nehru had made a correct assessment of China, but he failed to practice what he had written and in the bargain surrendered the leadership of Asia to China.
Much water has flown down the Ganga since 1947. India China had a border war in 1962 and an artillery duel in 1967. There was another faceoff in 1987 and till date the Chinese routinely infiltrate into Indian held area. They bolster their aggressive approach as they have built up a formidable military -industrial base. Come to think that in 1947, China was way behind India. India was relatively more advanced with a steel plant and textlie, auto and aircraft manufacturing facilities. Chinathe did not have even a bicycle factory. Things changed as China moved aead technologically while India lagged. Chinese spacemen went into orbit and they produced the latest fighter planes. In contrast India.s progress is slow and tardy.
China by being the bigger power and member of the Security Council as wellas development of nuclear weapons acheved great power status. In contrast the Indian leadership hd no global ambition and was content to be subservient to China. I remember reading that Morarji Desai who became prime minister wa a man who lived in a utopian world. He expressly forbade the development of nuclear weapons and any further nuclear research. By this act Morarji Desai did great disservice to the Indan people as he condemned them to a second rate status bar China for all time to come.
China would like to be the sole power arbitrar in Asia. It also has global ambitions. As such China is intent on throttling India. It supports the Maoist insurgency in Central India as well givesa haven to militants in the North East. It does not recognize Kashmir as an integral part of India and also thousands of square mils of Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh and Larson. China has befriended Pakistan and makes it a point to back Pakistan as a counterpoise to India.
The Indian reaction is to say the least lukewarm. China has also vetoed Indian membership of the NSG. There 20 points other than these by whichChina needles India. The fault lies with the Indian leadership which never had strategic vision. With the advent of Modi there is a change as India is tying up with the USA to collar China. The Chinese do not like this and are looking for way to prick the Indian bubble. What better than this to start a short war to humiliate India and show the world that China is the dominant power in Asia. China holds the aces with 30 divisons in Tibet. India will be hard put to counter that. This clash has to come, whether India wants it or not. In the chinese perception, india has the potential to be the other sword in Asia, but there can be only one scabbard and that is the problem

MG Singh created new article There is a definite chance that Donald Trump may win.
Election year in America is a period of fervent activity. However in a sense, it is a restricted election as the main contestants are only from two parties, namely Republican or Democrat. Frankly, there is little to choose between the two, other than minor differences.Theoretically, anybody can stand for an election in the USA, but a candidate who does not belong to these two mainstream parties has no chance whatsoever of winning at the hustings. This is the harsh truth. Both parties have a common thread and that is nationalism, unlike in India where the grand old party , the Congress at many places compromised on India's security like in the Batla House encounter, Dawood, and Samjhauta Express.
Donald Trump when he started the race against 16 contestants was given not an iota of a chance. But like a seasoned boxer he kayoed all the contestants from JebBush to Ted Cruz and finally emerged as the presumptive GOP nominee for the coming presidential election. I recollect one of Donald's statements. When he was reminded that the veterans and the old guard in the Republican party were opposed to him and could be the referees who would declare him out of the race, he replied that he knew it and as a boxer who enters a hostile territory where all the referees are arraigned against him, he would smash all his opponents with knockout and the referees will be presented with a fait accompli. This about sums up the character of Donald Trump.
Donald Trump did indeed incite passions and even his own GOP members have announced that they will support Hillary Clinton. But pollsters and others are hard to put to explain that despite so much antagonism against him, how come Donald won the nomination by crushing his opponents? The fact is that the silent American man came out of his home and voted for Donald as he identified with the views, though extreme of Donald Trump. His diatribes against Muslims, Hispanics and how to fight the ISIS struck a chord with the silent American citizen. He decided that Donald was his best bet to save him and he came out of his home to support Donald , notwithstanding the rhetoric of Mitt Romney and old timers who railed against Donald. These men failed to see the writing on the wall, that America is changing and the people do not want the status quo to continue.
Hillary Clinton will most likely, bar a miracle be the Democratic nominee. She has women voters, blacks, coloreds and big business behind her, but she is identified with Obama administration and an appeasement policy favoring Muslims. She also faces a Congressional indictment on the email scandal and that will dent her chances. Hillary has nothing new to offer and the American man sitting at home , I resume is fed up a status quo where he feels unsafe. It is this silent American who may and will tilt the scales in the final outcome.
the elections are still some months away, but the dice is cast and the American people have to choose between Donald and Hillary . It's like choosing between bad and worse and it's a pity as no other candidate can make it. One bright spark was Bernie Sanders but he has come to a cropper as the Democratic old guard decided to dump him and support Hillary. Frankly, Bernie never stood a chance, despite polls showing he is the best man to face and beat Donald.
Donald in negativity is 10 points ahead of Hillary and his popularity is now 2 points behind the Democrat presumptive nominee. But these are early days and I am sure when the time to cast the vote will come, Donald may well be the winner. A win for Donald will alarm politicians like the British PM and Muslims , who he has declared will not be allowed to enter the USA till their bonafide's is proved. Many in the world are unhappy and Pakistan is hiding its terror at Donald becoming the US president as he has gone on record and stated that the Pak nuclear arsenal is unsafe. Indians, of course are happy and the Hindu Sena has held a prayer meeting for the victory of Donald Trump in the coming election.
One has now to wait for a few months and see what transpires. But there is no doubt that Donald Trump has made a point and he cannot be written off.

MG Singh created new article Is perception of rape in America changing?.
Rape is one of the oldest crimes in the world and the driving force behind it is desire. There was no law against rape in Hindu law and a woman raped had no recourse to any legal remedy and had to accept what had happened. However with the advent of greater industrialization and development with greater human awareness the crime of rape is now a punishable offense in most societies. Even in Islam: though the law is archaic and requires 4 male witnesses and the raped women's evidence is not taken into account, rape is recognized as a crime. Modern rape law means penetration of a woman without her consent. This is accepted as the definition in almost all countries, and the USA is no exception.
Rape in the USA invariably has invited stiff sentences. Far back in the fifties of the last century, a man called the Red Light Bandit named Caryl Chessman was sent to the electric chair on charges of rape and abduction. Just 2 years back an Indian named Anand John was given 59 years in jail on rape charges even when he was a prominent dress designer.
With such a history the latest verdict in what is known as the Stanford rape case is disturbing. A young man who was a champion swimmer in the college saw a young 23-year-old girl lying unconscious ( passed out) while he was returning home. The dress of the girl was revealing and she was disheveled. Desire and lust took the lead and this young man hovered over the girl and removed her undergarments and began to make an entry into her. He was in the process when 2 passers-by saw him hovering over the inert girl. Seeing the man, the rapist fled but both men pursued him and finally pulled him to earth and pinned him. He was handed over to the police. Later the girl confessed that she had gone for a sorority in the college and after drinks had passed out and did not remember anything.
The young man was brought to trial and the maximum punishment for this under California law is 14 years jail term. The trial went its due course and the charges were proved. Surprisingly the judge in his judgment, though holding the boy guilty of rape awarded him a sentence of just 6 months in jail. With the parole laws, the boy would be out of jail inside 3 months. The judgment shocked many and a petition to recall the judge has been moved. The judge stated that he was satisfied that 6-month jail term was sufficient as the girl and boy were c drunk and the girl was wearing a revealing dress. He felt that as the boy was a champion swimmer, it was a mitigating circumstance. Needless to say that this is a bizarre judgment.
The judgment has raised some interesting points. Does it mean that a girl revealingly dressed and raped while drunk is acceptable. Does it also mean that a sportsman who is a champion is to be treated differently as far as rape is concerned? Close on the heels of this case a champion footballer was also let off after he had raped a cheerleader. These are disturbing cases and one wonders whether the perception of rape is changing in the UnitedStates ?
Legal judgments go in as case laws and can be referred back after years. This judgment of the judge will set a precedent and can be quoted by later judges and famous swimmers and athletes can be let off for rape. What about the poor giirl.? I think a paradigm shift is coming in the USA and rape per se is being looked at differently. This is sad as the repercussions can go far and deep. I wonder what can be done? In contrast, the rape law was amended in India and for more heinous rapes, the death sentence has been incorporated in teh statute books. Can the USA take a lesson from this?

MG Singh created new article Modi is not a Karamyogi as he sits on his promises.
NarendraModi must remain an enigma as with almost half of his tenure over, he has failed to deliver on all that he had promised. He talked big before the election, but 2 years down the line, it is difficult to fathom why he never moved an inch in all that he had promised. Modi is thus not a Karamyogi, which in Hindu philosophy is synonymous with action or a doer. On the contrary, he appears to look more and more Like a man sitting on the fence waiting for events to overtake him. Considering that he on his own had won a massive majority, this inertness does baffle. One is reminded of the famous nursery rhyme that stated: " Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty-Dumpty had a great fall and all the kings horses and all the kings men could not put Humpty Dumpty together again". One hopes something similar does not happen to Modi.
Let's have a look at Modi's promises. He stated that he would sanction OROP as per the Koshyari Commission, bring in Uniform Civil Code, Integrate Kashmir by abolishing Article 370, bring back all the black money stored abroad, construct a war memorial, prosecute the leaders of the Congress party on corruption issues, rethink on the Samjhauta Blast, Construct Ram Temple, usher in better days, give a fitting reply to Pakistan and a host of more promises. Did Modi just make them as an electoral camouflage or he really meant it? The fact is that Modi has not moved anywhere near doing any of these activities in total though he did pass OROP but not as per the definition approved by parliament, but the BJP own interpretation that in effect meant just a pension raise and not equalization of pensions as approved.
On Kashmir, he has formed a government with a rabid anti-national party the PDF. His promise of resettling Pandits as well abolition of Article 370 have not gone anywhere. On Article 370 not a word has come from him and that is surprising, considering when in the opposition the BJP was the most strident in asking for abolishing the Article 370. As things stand, the situation in the valley is bad and daily 3/4 soldiers of the army are martyred. What use is his forming an alliance with the PDP as the state goes further into anarchy?
Modi and the BJP have not moved anywhere on the Temple or the Uniform Civil Code, despite it being part of the directive principles of the constitution. Again the failure to act on this important legislation, that is demanded by the Muslim women, is a shock. Despite the hue and cry on triple talaq as per the Sharia, Modi was expected to lead the debate and ask the Supreme Court to expedite its decision. But he has just sat on the fence and maintained an enigmatic silence.
Modi's record with Pakistan is poor. When in opposition he made tall claims but the reality is different. He visited Pakistan to meet Sharif and had a bloody attack on the Pathankot base. Worse in a joint investigation, he allowed the Pak team to enter not only India but the Pathankot base and obviously there is no reciprocity.Modi has been elbowed out of Nepal and Ceylon by China and he has failed to stand firmly against China when he refused Visa to 2 Chinese dissidents to attend a conference in Dharamshala on not antagonizing China. Yet China des not reciprocate and even restricts Indian pilgrims to visit Mansarovar as well is issuing stapled visa fro Indian residents of Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh, which China claims. China has also vetoed the Indian membership of the nuclear sellers group and thrown the Indian request for Azhar Mahmood in the dustbin.
At home though over 2 years have elapsed the BJP government has not filed even an FIR against most of the Congress leaders and Robert Vadera, son in law of Sonia Gandhi. What is the hitch? Perhaps he was talking too much and the evidence is simply not there. The Black money equation remains the same and Modi and his finance minister are reduced to making statements, but on the ground, it is zero.
The war memorial? nobody seems to have heard anything about it including his boast to crush the Maoist insurrection. Modi has also not concentrated on matching China. One reason is his complete lack of knowledge of power politics and the role of military power as an extension of national policy. Modi needs to read Clausewitz, but he is a man with limited means of education and such a treatise may be beyond his grasp.
Modi has miles to go, but he has achieved nothing so far. It's a sad state, that a man who came riding a tiger should be eaten by the tiger.

ABSIVAKUMAR created new article Building the right skills for success .
Today is the day when skills matter, and qualifications matter only to some extent. The Indian organizations and even those like the NGOs want only people who can directly perform, not those who need training in the first place.
There are several reasons why this happens and it is essential to understand some ground realities in this regard.
Firstly, the business environment has changed totally. Competencies -- which are bundles of skills and technologies -- have to be built by organizations. Human beings matter most, as they have the skills. However, the skills have to be executed on machinery and sophisticated computers. They need to be executed in creative fields and the key is always skill.
Secondly, the pace of development is huge in India, which is now regarded as one of the fastest growing economies of the world, riding on the back of a big surge in the service sector.
Thirdly, those with skills do things much faster and better. They are able to comprehend things faster and do things faster, which is exactly what is needed by Indian organizations.
Fourthly, it is a fact of life that organizations are changing very fast and require a bundle of skills to deal with the enormous complexity of challenges at every stage.
Identifying what suits one's passion
It is very easy to acquire some skill but very difficult to plan something that suits one's passion. For instance, one may have a big passion for music. If it is vocal, then the person needs intensive training in Carnatic Music or the Hindustani Music or both. He or she will do better to follow this passion to its logical conclusion, and take one step at a time.
For security, many persons are just bank clerks. However, they moment they reach home, in the next twenty minutes they are with their respective Gurus. This is exactly what we should be do. Have a big passion -- which is mostly very natural and is there in each of us -- and then execute plans that will ensure that we satisfy our passion.
Similarly, there are any number of skills that one can acquire. For instance, those who are good in compering, can get trained in that and go on to take up jobs in the TV channels, even on a part time basis. Those with a gift of the gab and who are born extroverts can easily get into journalism and even go ahead to specialize in advertising and so on.
Get training in basic and specialized skills compulsorily
Some three decades ago, every educated person would take up a basic skill -- typewriting. Today, this is as good as gone, as people work only on computers. However, today one has to compulsorily know how to work on Ms-Word, Ms- Excel, Ms-Powerpoint and so on, and on C++, Java and so on.
Those with an ordinary MBA from a second class or third class B school, can easily do additional courses in SAP in Marketing, or HR, or Materials Management or Finance, in accordance with one's specialization, and then move ahead. Once this is done, it becomes so easy to graduate to a very good career, with very good salary and perks.
Hence, this sort of basic and specialized skills is so essential, if he or she were to be ready in the job market.
Training in the trades
Today, the training in basic trades like electrician, the plumber, the welder, fitter and even carpenter, is attempted by so many private organizations and even the Government. However, when this is not taken seriously, even in rural areas. Perhaps, the dignity of labor is an issue -- people would rather work in the fields doing their traditional work, rather than be identified as someone specializing in such skills. Earlier in some castes, the carpenter skill was a sort of traditional trade, but today, most men and women have started studying very well, and have graduated towards far better jobs.
Still, there is a tremendous scope for training in these trades, and the amount that one gets to earn is equal to that of engineers. For example, trained carpenters who specialize in designer kitchens in the metros earn upwards of Rs.1000/- per day, and are in huge demand.
So, what is needed is a huge amount of communication between the training agencies and the rural youth. Career counseling should be arranged through the Non-governmental agencies and the local Panchayat leaders and so on. Once this is done, the rural youth would be motivated to join for professional training in such trades.
Training in the soft skills arena
This is a huge multi-million dollar business, and it goes on merrily in India. However, in a most majority of colleges, including the best of the so called engineering colleges, there is neither an appraisal of the effectiveness of the training, or the post-training performance of the students in the real world.
The yardsticks are very confusing and no attempt has been made to form any template. This is an urgent priority. For example, is a person good in executing creative skills, which are these days even demanded on the shop floor in engineering industries, particularly when managing manpower coming from different cultural backgrounds, like those from the North of India, now being employed in a huge number of factories in South India?
The issues are very complex indeed and something needs to be done.
Hence, skills matter the most, and unless we go in for the maximum amount of skilling, we will not be able to reap the benefits of having a huge population in India. At various levels, a huge number of initiatives are needed and this is one area of big concern. The time to act is now.

MG Singh created new article The Potency of Sea Power and the 100,000 Ton Nimitz Aircraft Carrier.
Ever since the Greeks launched a 1000 ships to bring back Queen Helen who had eloped with Paris, the Prince of Troy, to the modern age the potency of sea power as the route to the domination of the world is stark and clear. The navy is the key to world domination. The Ottoman empire thrived on the back of a strong navy as they converted the entire Mediterranean Sea into their lake. Much later in history, the British navy popularly called the Royal Navy established and policed an empire that was global and without a doubt the greatest empire in world history. Ruling the waves is synonymous with power and this the Indian kings never realized. Vasco de Gama sailed all the way from Lisbon to India, but no Indian went even to East Africa, going to Europe was not even imagined.
The turn of the 20th century saw the ebb of the British empire and the emergence of a global power in the United States of America. The USA concentrated on a strong navy which soon dominated the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. This navy enforced the Monroe Doctrine in the Southern hemisphere and became a potent power. After World War I, the USA became the dominant power and had earlier even colonized the Philippine islands. The Pyrrhic victory of the UK over Hitler drained the British and they could not sustain their navy and lost the colonies as well as their empire.
The USA filled the vacuum and set about dominating the world. It is a moot point that the USA has its presence in 154 countries of the world and their navy is a potent force in all the 7 seas. For the last nearly 80 years the US navy is the unchallenged leader in the world. There was a brief challenge when the Imperial navy gave a fight to the US navy during World war II, but after the Battle of Midway ( 1942), the Imperial fleet was just a shadow as the US navy gained superiority.
The US naval power is awesome and is centered around 22 aircraft carriers, which are state of art machines with latest ECM measures and aircraft. These carriers help the US act as the world's policeman. It is a respected policeman as many nations look to the USA for safety and security. With China breathing fire in the South China Sea and nations like the Philippines and Vietnam feeling threatened it is the US navy's 7th fleet that calls the Chinese bluff. It is also the deterrent against a Chinese invasion of Formosa. The US navy also operates in the Baltic Sea and the Atlantic as it reassures peripheral nations that Uncle Sam will look after them.
The strength of the US navy is based on a class of carriers called the Nimitz class. These carriers weigh 100,000 tons and are the biggest ships afloat in the world. The aircraft carrier has a crew of over 5000 and is a veritable township. Its state of art ECM can recognize a threat 500 miles away and it can launch fighter jets at 20-second intervals. This type of carriers are almost invincible and are nuclear powered, needing to be refueled once in 20 years!
The Nimitz are machines that a nation will love to own. India's lone aircraft carrier the Vikramaditya is a puny child before the Nimitz. It's a good thing that Yahya Khan lost heart and General Niazi surrendered as the 7th fleet with the aircraft carrier Enterprise was moving into the Bay of Bengal to establish a bridgehead in East Pakistan. This was on the orders of Nixon and there was an element of fear in the Indian ranks. But Nixon had to eat the humble pie as Niazi surrendered, with the fleet some hundreds of miles away.
The Navy is the key element of world domination and that is one reason that China and Russia are at best regional powers and cannot operate at great distances from the Chinese mainland. There are reports that the Russians realizing the potency of sea power coupled with air power are building an aircraft carrier bigger than the Nimitz. But the Americans have an ace up their sleeve as a bigger version of the Nimitz, the George Bush class of carriers with a displacement of over 110,000 tonnes is on the way. The US domination is assured for the 21st century. The US is also the only power that can bottle up the ISIS and extremist Muslim groups and the adventurism of China. No wonder Modi is all gungho for a strategic partnership with the USA. Indians cannot match China militarily and need the USA.
The USA has a navy that is the only true blue water navy in the world. India must look to its military and the Navy as well. India should be the dominant power in the Indian Ocean, but America has the biggest base at Diego Garcia. The British are also constructing 2 of the biggest aircraft and the writing is clear; whosoever controls the oceans rules the world.

Ayushi tada created new article Raising the Bar.
Law - people say its all about "society".
But how it works? what its rules are? how each and everyone is involved?
Who knows all that stuff and the point is who cares enough to know?
But who made the laws about failures? As for me failure is a stepping stone.
Being a law aspirant as all people do after 12th i.e. write entrances, give interviews and all that stuff I did it too
But why it didn't make a difference for me? if I say I tried hard and gave it my all, I guess my luck was not with me etc no one would believe me.
They would definitely say or think that if one would have worked hard enough one could have gotten in but my question is who are these people to judge that I didn't work hard enough, I worked my ass off and I know that. But its all about Raising the Bar for oneself, some raised it high enough some couldn't.
But what amuses me the most is the hypocrisy of the society and how it started judging me from the day results were out and saying that I can do nothing by just seeing my CLAT score.
I am definitely not saying that CLAT score is not important but what I am saying is that it can not decide what my future is going to be like. All the rules of the society which it kept talking about suddenly started applying to me that is when I realised the basic rule of the "race system" if you don't come first nobody cares weather you survive or not.
So now it all depends on you whether you will let the piece of paper decide your future or you will create your own? The question remained unanswered by many. We all wish to be successful but we are too afraid to let our eyes open and see the world without any burden, without the question of what is going to happen next? which college am I going to get in?
Just chuck that thought for a moment and think is this the thing you really wanna do? Do you want to be a lawyer? Do you want to be a reason for change? Because if you do then no one can stop you because i know we can RAISE THE BAR. No college is going to decide but your hard work will prove it all to be true. Because i know one thing for sure that wherever I go, I will do good, all we need to do is have faith and relax after all we all just gave like a billion exams. We need some free time, we owe it to ourselves :)

MG Singh created new article Brazil and Olympics: Rio the Wrong Choice.
Brazil is slated to hold the summer Olympics this August and the clock is ticking away. I for one have been surprised that Brazil was allotted the Olympics by the IOC. Brazil is the third world and as yet poverty stricken country and for it to spend billions of dollars in staging Olympics is not good economic . More important Rio de Janeiro the biggest city and the venue of most games and events is a hotbed of crime activity. If people are aware ever since the Olympics was allotted to Brazil and the countdown to its staging began crime has increased by 39 % and rape by 50% and murders have shot up also by 30%. In addition gang wars between drug cartels out to carve their territory of influence are rife.
This points to a dangerous situation. Many incidents of rape dominate the scenario. One American student was raped in a moving bus with her boyfriend shackled to a seat and made to watch the rape. Again a 16-year-old girl was raped by 33 persons and most of the rapists are still at large. in another case a 16-year-old boy at the point of a knife raped a girl in a moving bus and all were witness to it. What surprises a visitor is the complete insensitiveness to violent crime. This not a good augury for the Olympics.
The country is also best with rampant corruption and political turmoil. The President Dilma Rousseff is facing an impeachment proceeding in parliament and an acting president is holding the fort. The level of corruption is so acute and mind boggling that all energy of Brazil politicians appears to be to mint money. The police seem ineffective and one policeman was shot dead in the shanty town close to the foothills. He was on patrol duty. If the police get killed, then it's an alarming sign. The 27 provinces of Brazil are no better than Rio de Janerio, which is staging the Olympics.
Visitors from abroad are apprehensive of coming to Brazil to witness the Olympics mainly because of rampant crime. Some people have even called for the Olympics to be canceled in Brazil and rescheduled at some other place. But this is too late in the day and I am afraid the Olympics will go through.
Brazil has the dubious distinction of having the second largest rape cases in the world after the USA. A sobering thought is that India also is nearby and occupies the 3rd place as far as rape is concerned. However, these rapes in Brazil are difficult to understand as sex is virtually rampant in Rio where a girl can be had at any time for a small change. These girls are now looking to mint money from customers during the summer Olympucs. Personally, I have no case against such activity, but violence is another kettle of fish and this is the biggest threat to the Olympics. The drug cartels rule the roost and they foment crime. How come these drug cartels exist ? The fact is that with deep-rooted corruption that includes the police the drug lords have had their way. Nobody bothered earlier, but now with the Olympics around, the danger of these drug cartels to visitors has come to light.
The IOC erred in awarding Olympics to Brazil. Perhaps they wanted the venues for Olympics to be made more representative. This is flawed thinking as the Olympics are a world event and I wonder how Rio was chosen.
As things stand the countdown to the Olympics has begun. Political crisis and rampant corruption with fights between gangs is not a happy augury for the greatest summer spectacle in the world. I wonder how Brazil will cope with it. Its a question that is difficult to answer. The guns are out in Rio and I hope they can keep the peace.

ABSIVAKUMAR created new article Emotional intelligence -- lessons from the IPL 2016 final.
It often does not require more than basic and elementary common sense to succeed in life. However, more often than not, we miss the wood for the trees and do things that are not at all based on common sense. We miss vital opportunities, we weigh only the short term pleasures versus the long term goals, we do not sweat much, we do not do enough hard work and so on. When all this happens, the inevitable also happens -- failures in life.
Be that as it may, a new filed of applied behavioral science has now emerged and a great deal of research is now on to explore more dimensions of what is called emotional intelligence. When we say a person has very good emotional intelligence, we mean that the person is optimistic, his behavior has a huge effect on others, his behavior motivates others, and when he keeps his emotions under control, there are huge gains in any given situation.
The current Indian captain for the One Day International matches and the T20 format matches, in Cricket, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, is often sited as one of the best in this regard. He rarely shows his emotions on the filed, his communication is bare minimum, but he makes his point very clear, and this becomes loud and clear, when it matters most. The net result is that there is a tremendous optimism when he is around.
The team that he represents in IPL at the moment, Rising Pune Giants, unfortunately did not qualify for the final four this year, but the last match was indeed memorable. It required 23 runs to win of the final year, and Dhoni did not panic.
At a time when critics were debating his lack of form, he rose like one man, and hit all the 23 runs from his own bat, and six that he hit of the last ball was simply superb --- it was vintage Dhoni, at his best.
Well, the final of the IPL 2016, saw a new hero -- David Warner of the Sunrisers Hyderabad, who did what he is well known for -- superb captaincy, and shrewd tactics on the filed. His calmness and the way he motivated his team --- very young team --- to success will be talked for a very long time.
In a span of 54 balls, the entire match turned on its head. The clinical RCB were 114 for no loss, at the end of the 11th over. Everyone thought that the match would be over by the 17th over, and the Sunrisers would bite the dust.
But it later transpired that Warner spent the 150 seconds available after the 9th over, to talk to his boys and execute a plan of bowling short and slow, to get the dangerous Chris Gayle out. This plan was executed to perfection, and Gayle was out in the 12th over. RCB went on to loose six more wickets and the rest is history. What happened during overs 12 to 20 will ever be remembered forever.
It was left to Cutting of the SRH who bowled a beauty and Gayle was gone. But the superb Kohli and AB De Villers were at the crease and the crowd was so anxious. Kohli reached his fifty, but was clean bowled by a straight ball from Sran, who had till then had a very ordinary spell.
Warner did not show his emotions at any point in time. He did motivate his bowlers at every stage, and the fielding was again superb. They had to contend with the dangerous Stuart Binny, who was capable of hitting sixes. The throw from Bipul Sharma was simply superb and Binny was run out.
Earlier, the trap laid to get rid of A B De Villers in the form of a short ball from Henriques was simply superb and spoke of the accuracy of the bowling. An unassuming Mustafizur Rahman, who comes from a pretty ordinary background from Bangladesh, was another hero of the team, and it was he who, along with Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, did all the death bowling in each of the matches, with superb and telling accuracy.
SRH now has the best bowling team in IPL and is now a superb unit, in batting, fielding and bowling. It was superb to see Ben Cutting of SRH, comes out with such a superb spell with the ball, and with figures of two wickets for just 35 runs in a crucial match.
The lessons in emotional intelligence are aplenty. The leader has to show the way. In this case, the leader showed the way, with both the bat and his leadership. He has now built a new and superb team, brick after brick. This team is now a well knit unit and complements the strengths of each member of the team.
Its mentor, the former Indian cricketer, VVS Laxman, is another person who has motivated the team and formulated strategies to execute.
Emotional intelligence is a superb tool to excellence. A person high on emotional intelligence not only knows to remain cool at all times, but also motivate others to perform, even under the worst of circumstances. They see light at the end of every tunnel and do not give up. They understand that in every crisis situation, there is a very good opportunity, and all that needs to be done is to marshal all resources available and effectively use them in a crisis situation very effectively --- precisely what David Warner did on that particular night at the IPL final.
We can easily learn a lot from such experiences. For instance, young people, that is, graduates in particular, do not know that there is an opportunity for the asking in the BPO sector, where even the knowledge of spoken English is not very essential. Once they get in, they can work their way up, by mastering English, through some special courses and move up the career ladder.
This is exactly what is being done by the street smart people from the tier 2 and tier 3 towns, since they realize that if they bite their nails and feel frustrated and ventilate such anger on others, nothing will happen.
Instead if they catch on to the first ever opportunity, that helps them to be creative and positive. They start looking at life from a fresh perspective and move up on emotional intelligence, far better than others who are very choosy and end up getting nowhere. This is exactly what we should all do under every given opportunity --- make the most of it, and keep on trying for better opportunities. Once we start doing this, not only will be grow economically, we will also be to become and stay positive and enable the positive feeling to rub off effectively on others. The world will then become a better place to live in.
The IPL final 2016, is worth watching any number of times, for all the positive lessons it offers on emotional intelligence.

Babu saroj created new article Other subjects are important too .
Introduction
To make our education successful and useful the educationists have classified the educational curriculum several respective characteristics that are based on age and maturity of the learners. The learners gradually soar step by step on the visionless wings of knowledge from primary to higher levels. At each stage they grow more mature. This gradual maturity builds one’s own future. Actually if we burden everything in first stage, then it will become a huge problem for the child to catch up and remember that sort of a thing in near future, so it’s better to make them learn in a slow way so that everything goes to their mind and so that they cannot forget anything which they have learnt in their childhood.
Education system
I am a student. I am in college now. Our education comprises of eight subjects in schools but it becomes different as we go to colleges. We have to study all of them. Our promotion to the next higher class depends on success in each subject. So it becomes impossible for the student to ignore any subject. Yet, every student feels interested in certain subject. The students find charm in it and desire to make his career with the help of that particular subject. I was also in school as we all have been and I know that the school students have to read English, Mathematics, Science, History and Civics, Geography and Computer. If someone ask me what is my favourite subject then definitely my answer will be computer because I am very fond of computer, one can also say that I am addicted to computer, hours and hours I sit near the computer sometimes I chat online sometimes I play games and sometimes I write articles. So how the time passes every day I don’t know, it just a frame of a second and time passes like a bullet train.
Political interference
This is one of the most important factors in study because half of the student in India depends on political support for study. Yeah its true that many students in India need political support for further study in their life to get a good job. So political support should be made strong enough so that they can help the needy students who want one chance to change their life and make their life a wealthy and healthy life. But the politician should be very careful so that they shouldn’t make any wrong decision in selecting wrong student because if they select the wrong student just on the basis of money then I think that student can make that good chance to hell out of it. So to have a good future of student in near future the politician should be good enough to help the needy students who can utilize their chance in a better way than any other students. As we all know that many politician takes money to admit students in colleges and which is one of the most bad side of our political leaders now a day.
There are many politicians who will not help any students related to their studies, but they will come to take the money from the student parents to admit their child in the best colleges, because of that there are many students who are cleaver, smart and talented as well but not getting chance because they are poor and don’t have enough money to show off to the politicians so that they can get chance to study in the best colleges in India, actually what happened the politician has the mind set collecting money because they think that if they looses the election this time then who will give money to them. And what I think that if someone does well to others then that good things will happens to them also. If someone wants to take my suggestion then I will suggest them not to give them money and if they forces then express the happening to the big officials.
Computer syllabus
I came to know form the surroundings that computer plays an important role today even all over the world. Even their applications are increasing day by day. Since primary level I have been studying computer and learning something such as DOS, Lotus, HTML, C, C++ etc. There are manifold usages of computer such as calculating, designing, desktop publishing, book composing, etc. The internet system is another wonder of computer. As we know that as we move on our study we been promoted to new classes and in that new classes our topic on computer changes and we got to learn some more interesting things on computer. Study of computer is very deep one cannot learn it in one day. When I was in 9th standard I used to have JAVA and BLUE as my computer syllabus but the time pass many new things have been introduced in the computer syllabus, so one cannot specify any common syllabus for computer but one can easily specify the basic of computer like Microsoft office for example in that package we have learn Microsoft word, Microsoft excel and Microsoft power point these three things are very common everywhere in the world and it is the starting thing of a computer under software studies because there are two different studies of computer one is hardware and the other is software. Under hardware we use to learn about the internal components of the computer and in the software category we use to learn about the external function made by the computer, both of the study is vast and only few people knows both very clearly. As I said that the study of computer is vast and one cannot learn it in one day. We have to wait and slowly-slowly our knowledge about computer increases and when we become expert in it, we get use to it as there are many in the world that are using the advantages of computer at the same time.
Computer used in and importance
Computers are used in many different parts of the world for different uses, one cannot specify its one purpose of use only because it has different types of uses like if the computers are used in school, then surely it will be used for students teaching purpose, or for the school management for keeping records. In almost every office computers are used for record keeping. And if someone goes out for a private job then he/she has to hear about computer knowledge from his boss. And yeah it is very common now a day, computer is the basic knowledge which everyone has now a day, and every students get its interesting to learn computer because the visual practical which the student gets to do make them willing to know something about it. One of the most important thing which makes the student to know more about the computer is that now a day the importance of computer knowledge is having an utmost respect in the hearts of many people and even the uneducated human being also know the importance of computer knowledge, so this importance which are given by the people makes it more interesting and makes its own standard. If we see then we will come to know that all paper works are on the verge of extinct. Now a day we book railway ticket online just because of computer and many more, yeah internet is also popularised because of computer and its technology.
Five important use of computer, mainly there are many uses of computer but I am pointing out only five important things which are really important and one cannot stay without knowing that and they are :-
1) With the help of computer we get to see the live cricket matches and live event of everything whether it is a football match or whether it is a wwe wrestle mania event.
2) With the help of computer we get weather report time to time
3) Storage of many records, whether it is a record of data related offices or of bank account details.
4) Online chat using computer with the people of different countries in a second.
5) Last but not the least article writing and blogging as I am portraying.
Wrong use of computer
Some of the things which personally noticed is that many people used computer for having fun such as playing music, videos, chatting on net, and especially small children who used computer for playing games, and I have seen many child who are seriously addicted to computer for games, they play games on computer nearly 5 to 6 hours a day and I get surprised when I see their parents who are ruining their child life by letting them play games and not saying a single word also, yeah there are parents who love their child so much that they not even take their hands upon them but ruining life of their child is not a love it is something which we called wrong bringing up. As study is important I also know playing games for the child is important too but not this way, it is too harsh for the child life as he/she is small he/she cannot judge his life decision correctly, so it comes on the shoulder of their parents to teach them what is wrong and what is right, and there are also many parents who take their child life very seriously and that seriousness makes their child brains go on burden because the parents are so serious about their child study that they forces their child to comes on their expectation and if they don’t then they put more and more pressure on their child by making their child to go to some extra tuition. I don’t how the child who is facing all these, how they can even survive because physical we can handle but mental pressure is not in our hand, there are many students who commit suicide and end their beautiful life, well if someone ask me who is the culprit here then I will say that the parents who are pressuring their child should be sent behind the bar for lifelong.
Hacking and sending viruses on net to corrupt any one’s account is also a serious crime which many students and computer professional dose to spread instability to the society and which is a bad deed which one shouldn’t do in his/her life ever. We got the chance to learn about the cyber crime in the school itself, there is a separate chapter on cyber crime in every standard so to warn the students who ever thinks of hacking or going into this line to spread chaos in the society. And in that chapter the line are very clear and understandable to everyone it clearly says that hacking and cracking any personal data on net is a crime and the culprit will be punishable for his deed. But then after there are many students and the computer experts who want to go into this line and do some mischievous things in computer, I don’t what they got for hacking and cracking because ultimately they will be sent prison and have to spent their full life in jail, so ultimately the result is zero. Then I think on my own does hacking gives any knowledge or do we gain any great thing after hacking and after sometime I get the answer that yes hacking is an art which only of us have but instead of utilizing it for a good cause some of the students and computer experts take that into somewhere else, and that path is called as crime path which never let anyone to move backward once anyone goes to that line he/she cannot be back from that line. And as a result that particular student ruined his bright future by his/her own hand. But there are also some students who blame his/her own deed on others by saying that he/she has became criminal just because of this and that by making this excuse they cannot be leaved from the jail, it is just an hoax and nothing else the main reason behind his destruction is he/she himself/herself and nobody else. So the person who hacks or crack any person encrypted data on net is a criminal and should be jailed, there are also some people who promote hacking as an art and does mischievous things behind that saying.
Other subject
Yeah it is good to learn any subject of one’s interest. But it is also true that we should neglect any other subject because of computer, if one side of the computer sales and knowledge and interesting is gaining then we is also aware of the fact that other subject and interest in that particular subject are getting neglected too. The parents and the teachers duty start from here, the teacher and the parents should teach their child from the beginning that other subjects other than computer are too important and has their own importance in their field, if we see then we will know that for computer also we have to gain some knowledge of maths. So every subject is made to give different types of knowledge. Yeah computer is important, I am not saying that it is not important, I mean say that beside computer there are other subject and which its own taste of learning and knowing them. Just think if everyone becomes computer engineer then who will become lawyer, doctor. So every field is important in this world whether it is computer engineering line or law study or doctor study.
Conclusion
Many students already preoccupied with the thought that they shall study computer science in future. And I think that this perception will take the students to a bright and prosperous future. And there are also many students who want to open their own firm so that they can earn money from that and I think it is also a good idea because now a day computer is the first preference for anyone. And I personally experience and seen that there are many houses where there is no AC, no CAR, no BIKE but they have COMPUTER and which is an interesting thing to see that people are giving importance to computer as a part of their life. But accept that I have to say that there are people who are concentrating more on computer rather than other subject, they should be realized that other subjects are too important and they have their own taste and power and position in this world.
My only request to the students and to the parents that yeah computer as its importance but other subjects are too important and they should think of this, I mean to say that they shouldn’t force their child to take computer, instead of that they should leave the decision on their child, so that they can do what they want to do in their future. Not only they will study well but they will enjoy their study as well.

ABSIVAKUMAR created new article Procastination is enemy number one of progress and development.
For a huge majority of Indians, life is a big constant struggle. The rising cost of every single item of food items, clothing, housing. education of school and college children and so on, takes a big toll of their health and happiness.
Be that as it may, there are quite a few issues that stand out, if one needs to progress and develop far beyond what he or she is now, financially and socially in terms of the economic order.
For instance, for a middle class man, the main obsession would be one of good education that he or she needs to provide to his or her children. For the rich, it would mean, making more money, by and through prudent management of resources. The actions would differ from case to case.
In this process, procrastination -- the dangerous practice of "I will do it sometime tomorrow" becomes a mindset and acts as the most important problem when one wants to develop and progress.
Time related issues
There are a huge number of issues on which each one of us miss out. For instance, it is prudent to just take one huge "pure protection" policy, for a huge amount of say, forty lakh rupees when the earning member is less than 23 years old. The amount would not exceed Rs.8000/- per annum, at current prices and would not increase much thereafter.
So, the family is well protected and life insurance becomes a good investment, but for pure protection. This is a very wise policy and choice, as the return on life insurance, in terms of what are called endowment policies, is so poor. It is hardly two or three percent.
The issues related to long term savings need to be tackled at this stage, as it is still possible to park small amounts of money in recurring deposits, that will fetch good returns and help the individual to tackle inflation. Similarly, it is wise to invest in non convertible debentures of companies that offer much better returns when compared to traditional fixed deposits. This is exactly what is needed -- the right decisions at the right time.
Secondly, it is also prudent and wise to have children early after marriage, as most men nowadays get married at the age of 28 or when they are older. This creates problems, as when they turn fifty, the child would have just completed college, and would be just ready for employment. Any further delay, of say, three or four years, would complicate matters even further, and it will be a challenge for the man or woman or both, to really bring up the child in a good manner.
Children related issues
In many cases, parents are totally irresponsible and wait for the inevitable to happen. More often than not, parents do not care much for the welfare and character building of their children and, even if something amiss comes to their notice, they tend to say, "let me do it tomorrow".
Chances are that in nine out of ten cases, where the peer pressure is huge, and things like attraction towards the opposite sex happens quite quickly, that parents ought to act very fast and nip anything in the mud. Even when the mother is keen, the father allows things to drift and before something they wink, something dreadful happens. This is outright dangerous and can spoil entire careers of children.
So, parents should really avoid procrastination at every stage. Regarding academic excellence, what has to be done, has to be done. For instance, in the huge metros, there are quite a few good tutor shops to crack the IIT and IIM exams. The expenditure on this front, is worth the salt. Most parents from the smaller towns or cities, hesitate to do this, and the children are often wanting when it comes to expressing themselves, and when the children are compared to those from the metros, they are found to be totally inadequate at the crunch time.
All this can be avoided and procrastination should stop.
Relationship-based procrastination
Thanks to an overdose of masala movies, many youngsters fall in love with some girl, but fail to express that openly. The girl gets to know about it from third party sources, and things become very bad for either or both parties.
All this can be avoided if men stop their procrastination practices and get to do things the right way. Similarly, the differences of opinion between husbands and wives should never be allowed to assume gigantic proportions or known to others. A mutually trustful relationship is a must and should be nurtured carefully. This does not happen and procrastination simply destroys all that is good. This is very unfortunate.
This is an age of unreason. Perhaps the heart has a reason that reason cannot reason. So, any difference of opinion needs proper probing and if the deep roots are analyzed, things will become that much clearer.
So, the list of procrastination is so huge. In matters of social action, a group of people, or several groups of people need to get together and do something very urgent. Procrastination in matters of public interest will only enable political groups or parties to further their selfish agenda. This situation should never be allowed to develop.
Procrastination is very dangerous. It becomes a habit if not tacked head on. The individual has a big role to play and can do many things through proper actions, at the right time. Once the "here and now" action mindset takes over, there will be a great sea of difference for the individual and things will become far better.
Emotion related procrastination
Human beings are all emotional at some point of time or the other and can be vulnerable when it comes to some emotion, more so, when it involves some negative emotion like anger or jealousy. The second emotion of jealousy makes people loose control of themselves and indulge in a series of negative activities, which takes them nowhere.
Procrastination makes a big entry here, to some individual or the other, and everything gets delayed.
In conclusion, it can be safely said that procrastination is a hugely negative thing. It should be avoided at all costs, since work done is always done. This sort of doing work will work wonders for any human being, at any point in time.

ABSIVAKUMAR created new article Marketing in Indian context: Major lessons.
he Great Indian Market has drawn the attention of the best marketing wizards from around the world, as it is the fastest growing market in the world, and has the potential of still growing, at least for a decade or even longer, in most market segments, products, services and what have you.
However, the Indian market is very unique and a deep understanding of its many manifestations is just in order. This is because the clearly distinguishing features are very much Indian, and a huge number of buying behavior is uniquely Indian.
The huge heterogeneous market
The Indian market is truly heterogeneous. It is possible to find cheaper substitutes for every single product, and hence there is a huge amount of diversity and complexity in every single product, the market it serves, the buying behavior and so on.
Let us take some common examples to understand the dynamics involved.
Some years ago, the two multinational giants -- PepsiCo and Coca Cola -- hammered the Indian market like never before, and made life miserable for the smaller players.
So, the shelves in every nook and corner of the country stock products of these two multinationals and every other single player is lost. So is the common understanding of the soft drinks market.
Most importantly, this is the most common perception. This is totally wrong.
There are competitors galore in this market, and each of these are local players whose marketing costs are much lower, have a huge customer base that keeps on expanding through word of the mouth. and the common perception among a huge number of customers -- running into hundreds of thousands -- is that it is "our product".
For example, in Tamil Nadu, a company called Kali Mark, is a small regional player, and is focused in selling one hugely popular brand called "Bovonto", which is essentially made out of grapes. The unique favor is so good that lakhs of people get addicted to it, and do not even experiment the products of the MNCs.
In Tiruchi and Salem, the two bigger towns of Tamil Nadu, the product sells like hot cakes and the retailers happily stock the product. It is not that the Pepsi and Coke range of products do not sell at all. However, they are left far behind this product.
Bovonto has now cracked the huge Chennai market as well, though the sales is not as good as what it is in Salem and Tiruchi.
The same company also has a product called Panner soda, which is basically made of essence from rose petals. This is a huge market in itself.
The prices? Well, the prices are almost equal to that of the MNC products.
Now, the culture part during summer in particular. Thanks to a huge amount of high decibel advertisement and awareness about the soft drinks in particular, people in each of the four Southern States prefer to literally feast on the natural coconut water that is sold at every nook and corner. Not only this, the word of mouth advise leads the North Indians and even those from abroad to try out the natural alternative, and our MNCs have fresh competition on hand.
There are hundreds of other substitutes like fresh juices sold in fairly high quality hotels, that are sold at huge prices, but people still buy them and happily drink them.
So, the culture of the particular place has a huge influence on buying habits.
The same trends and a huge amount of differentiation can be seen in different products, but one product stands out for its uniqueness. This is a product only for women -- bangles.
The bangle market in India, is estimated at three thousand crore rupees, and this is still growing. The way women buy the same product differs from place to place.
In the metro cities for instance, the women mostly prefer only the plain glass bangles, and the stone ones, and even those made of wood. However, in the smaller towns and in the rural areas, there is a complexity involved.
Women go in for bangles with some decoration in each bangle. These are slightly ticker than the plain ones, and do tend to make more sound. But this hardly matters, and the buyer behavior is something so solid.
Similarly, take the sari market. In spite of the fact that saris are sold throughout India, the sari market is huge in South India, where women in rural areas are wedded only to saris. However, the saris that are sold in such areas are not sold for over Rs.400 apiece, as the people do not have huge marketing power.
The small packet revolution
Some years ago, a small time manufacturer of shampoos in Tamil Nadu, hit upon a very unique idea -- market his brand of Velvette shampoo in the smallest Sacket pack, priced at Re.1/. Today, there are millions of products like pickles, talcum powders and even shaving creams sold in such small packets, with prices ranging from Re 1 to around Rs.20/-. The logic is simple. The poorest of the poor get to buy even branded products like chocolates at such cheap prices, and get to buy bigger packs when their purchasing power becomes bigger.
This small pack revolution is totally Indian, it is pan-India, and it is growing with each single day. So, in India, the price is one unique factor indeed.
The market for the poor
One really does not know what is going on in other developing countries, but what is going on in India is something so unique and can be easily observed. It is the market for the poor.
Outside each big textile showrooms in the big cities, one can find hundreds of smaller shops that sell substitute products ranging from saris to ready made shirts and inner garments at prices that are at least forty per cent cheaper than the branded items. This goes on happily, and no one complains.
The poor know that they need to make several compromises in their lives. They adjust accordingly. For example, it is very common to find second hand mobiles sold for as low as Rs.300/- in the rural areas. At any point in time, at least ten thousand such mobiles would be sold. The poor know that this mobile will last for a maximum of six months. So, they just use it to receive and make calls. After six months, they buy the second mobile, once again, a second hand one.
Shared autos take care of transport costs and small eateries take care of breakfast lunch and dinner, all of which will cost Rs.100/-, even at 2016 prices. Yes, the standard of hygiene is not good, but the poor adjust to every single problem admirably.
Religion and culture have huge influence
Though the joint family is gone, the getting together of relatives is still unique in thousands of villages throughout India. The elders teach the younger generation the value of hard work, and a simple life too. This has a big bearing on buying behavior.
For instance, costly curtains and very costly interior decoration is a big no, in smaller towns, where the house will be very simple and functional, but without the trappings that one finds in the metro cities.
So, heterogeneous markets, the presence of a huge market for the poor, and the influence of religion and culture are major lessons of marketing in India. Of course, there are other lessons, but only these have been discussed in the aforesaid paragraphs in this article.

The American political world is pretty insular and non-inclusive.
