There are different settings to merge colors in a sewing machine , so it is not a difficult proposition at all. You may not be aware how embroidery on a sewing machine works, but I have one with an embroidery setting so know that it is much easier and quicker to embroider with a machine than by hand ..

Yes. Police does what they are supposed to do. But how many police personnel are doing what they are supposed to do ? I have seen in pondicherry, a cop helped me in giving me directions to a particular destination, but he took me to the Bus stand and asked the Conductor to help me when my destination comes.

Designs with Sewing machine can be done. The problem arises with the Portraits . getting all the features using different shades to bring the likeness is a difficult proposition.

The police do what they are supposed to do and the traffic police stand there on the road regardless of summer heat or monsoon showers directing traffic and helping out pedestrians doing their duty . It is the citizens who have become self centered and heartless where other people are concerned. On the one hand we speak big about what a great country and great culture we have but sadly it remains in speeches and books only ! Without all these claims I have seen how people quietly help out others in western countries ..it is cultivated in them and they do it automatically.

In fact it is easier to do machine embroidery and it is also much quicker than hand embroidery.. However, the artiste's efforts are to be lauded since embroidery in itself is time consuming !

I saw the interview given by her and I don't see anything wrong in sharing her thoughts, which she has done before once when she and her party was in power as well and has suffered the consequences. I know Margaret Alva very well since she comes from Mangalore and her ancestral home is very close to mine. She has been a very upright person and has faced many difficult situations in her political career because of this .If she wants to write about her political experiences , she is free to do so. Just because she speaks about Bofors and Sonia Gandhi and even makes reference to Augusta deal might make some people jittery , because they are involved and coming from an insider shows their true colors ..So, is it right that she keeps quiet about wrong doings when she herself has been at the receiving end so that the wrong doers benefit and get away with all their greed and corrupt deals? On the one hand we say we need transparency but speak about morality when someone , has had the guts to speak about it. Why such double standards ?

I love Books. Book reading adds knowledge. Enhances imagination power. helps to set your mood. I cannot live without books. Because I cannot buy the all Books, I became a member in a local library. I love to read fiction mostly. My favorite authors are Leon Uris, Jeffry Archer among others. Presently i'm reading 'A God in Ruins.' by Leon Uris.
Members are requested to tell about their favorite Books.
