Rajesh Khanna done two best film of his carrier with Asha Parkeh, Kati Patang and AAn Milo Sajna. I read in interview of Asha Parekh that later Khanna refuse film with Asha because of her age.   One can believe that because he was apparently quite old fashioned in his thinking having done his level best to stop his wife Dimple from taking up acting .. While Kati Patang was a good role for him, Aan milo sajna was just an entertainer without much depth in it, nothing compared his older films .. He was quite old fashioned in many ways, not just he tried to stop Dimple but he was quite egoistic and had grown the superstar attitude which really was the cause of his downfall. Unlike Amitabh Bachchan who is so humble and gentle and so he is still the star in the eyes of his fans. But that part aside, Rajesh Khanna was really the pioneer of films with larger than life heroes, earlier films portrayed heroes as more simpler with which a common man could relate to. It is also our own society that lifts the celebrities up to a demi god status that makes the super stars become so arrogant. They begin to think that they really are super special beings who can get away with anything ..

Rajesh Khanna, after a series Mega Hits, success has gone to his head. He failed miserably In handling success. He thought that he will remain as Super star forever. He took to bottle and ultimately he died of Liver cancer. Where as Amitabh Bachchan is a picture of humility. He treated both success and failure alike. That's why even today he's in much demand.

She Had a very miserable life especially during  her last days. Mubarak Begum's daughter died due to Parkinson Disease. Thereafter , Mubarak begum's own health took a serious down turn. During this period, Salman Khan from the  Hindi film industry. Lata too extended Financial support to Mubarak Begum. Additionally a few Charitable trusts helped Mubarak begum for her medical expenses. Some of her memorable renditions are still living in the hearts of music lovers. She sang along with Lata and Shamshad begum, "Husn Ki baarat in Myghal e Azam, Naushad scored the music.

But Salma Agha was nowhere near any of these singers since she went off key, so naturally faded away ! Some of the very beautiful songs that Mubarak Begum has sung and the ones I particularly like are Neend ud jaaye teri chain se sonewale, a duet with Lata Mangeshkar and Chah karni thi chah kar baithe again a duet with asha Bhosle , Zara kehedo fizaon se with Talat Mehmood and Mere aansuon pe na  muskura a solo composed by Dattaram.. Listen, Bemurwat Bewafa Beganey Dil Bat AAP, it is song of Sushila, combination of Beautiful poetry and voice of Mubrak Begum.   Yes of course I know the song since it is quite well known and popular...A few years back, Mubarak Begum was in a very bad state finding it difficult to meet her medical expenses , one of the music forums where I was a member collected some money from all the members and handed it over to her. Later many people spoke up for her and the government gave some sort of a pension to her. That was very nice of you and your friends. It is so sad that the culture of our country is such that truly talented are ignored and have to get financial help from others whereas those with no talent earn crores of rupees.

One should adapt and experience before passing judgments ! Reading is enjoyable no  matter what means you do it through ..
