Some of the actors or Singers, though they earned a good money in their hay days, did not care to save for the Rainy day. They were under the impression that their income will remain forever. This is nothing but lack of fore thought. Ultimately, such people had to live in penury in the last phase of their lives. I'm not aware of Sulakshna Pandit's case.

Out of those few successful Movies of Bimal Roy my favorite movie is Madhumati. Salil Choudhury's was simply mesmerizing.

There lies the mistake. There is no provision for petty thieves in the law. The Law is for Super thieves like Salman.

Many older film artists and singers have gone through difficult times because they did not earn enough or were not wise enough to save when the going was good. Recently, I was reading about another very talented singer/actress Sulakshana Pandit in similar circumstances where she was just about managing to survive.

A great film maker like Bimal Roy had very few films that were box office successes . But today his films are considered to be the finest classics .
Rajesh khanna himself had been quite adventurous in his film roles, playing an older man right at the beginning of his career and acting in films that were far from glamorous

When Salman Khan literally gets away with murder, I wonder how would all those people who had to repent all their life for a minor mistake/ crime committed feel? In one of the cases I have known, a petty thief once caught and after undergoing 6 months of imprisonment had decided to reform. But every time there was any theft in and around the area , the police and all the others too wd point fingers at him. So much so that he and his widowed mother became depressed and lost all interest in living ! Life really is very unfair in India..

I dont understand why people react in an anger mode. I just created this thread to know how many articles can i submit per day so that i can prepare for that. Its a simple task, just if u know answer it and close the thread. I did not create this thread to gain points and whatever you people are thinking.
One more thing usha, am a siner member and old member but am not a moderator. Kalyani i didnt comment about your lives and all. you are geting time to spend on this site atleast few minutes. Those few i am not getting. So when i get gap of login to this site. I feel many changes are made. So to clear those i created this thread thats it. more over if there is a pm option as earlier, i would have not created such thread. I know and expected you people will react by seeing this thread. Thats why before creating this thread, i read complete faq's and i did not find the answer for my doubt. So i felt you people are moderators and you will clear it. Anyway, i understood. You people like to critisize me but don't wanna answer my doubt, anyway i will do on my own. I don't need any help. i request the moderators to close this thread.
