Is Neel-Gai or Blue Bull an endangered species ? Salman killed a Chinkara which is an endangered species, which is crime.

I am witness of shooting by a Gypsey driver in my area with a difference that the driver was not the only shooter but two others too shot and the animal was not a chinkara but couple of Neel-Gai (Blue Bull) found aplenty in our area. The hunting of blue bull is illegal unless a permit is obtained in case the farmers complain about damage to their crops. But it is common and almost 500-1000 are killed every night by hunters for their meat.

The intention of Sainath the creator of this website was to highlight the beauty of Rural India and some of the unique practices of Tribals. In Kerala, a tribe called 'Khalasis'were building ships since generations, without using any modern equipment like cranes. A tribe in Assam till the land with their legs. One can find many such interesting things related to rural India in this site.

Chinta Chiguru, the tender leaves of Tamarind tree are combined with any pulse makes a tasty preparation. This is a favorite dish in AP. Additionally, Tamarind has many medicinal uses.

I feel, Mubarak begum , although was a well known Singer, who sang for the most noted Music Directors of her time like Shanker Jaikishen, Naushad to name a few, failed to realize the importance of capitalizing her talents, which is highly essential in careers connected to the entertainment industry. All she was interested in was more Music and less Money. Mubarak begum's day to day expenses and generosity did not allow her save much money. This resulted in much suffering in her last days of her career.

Harish Dulari, the driver of the Gypsy used by Salman, was not given protection. Dulari said that Salman was driving and shooting at the same time. His statement was never made it to the trial. The Court dismissed Dulari's statement saying, " Multi Tasking." is an unreliable statement The Court's verdict once again proved that, Justice in India is for the rich and the influential.

This is all very fishy. The driver showing his face after 10 years. Who will get to the bottom of this? In India money is all that matter.

Tamarind is used for cooking extensively all over south and in Mangalore almost all older households have a tamarind tree in their garden. We use it for almost all curries ,Sambhar, rasam fish and sea food preparations ..We also make a pickle with green chilies, ginger and tender tamarind which is very tasty !

One can understand Salman Khans lawyer coming up with that lame excuse since that was the best he could get, however what is shocking is the judge buying that and pronouncing his judgment based on that ! Can it get more ridiculous than that ?

They said Salman's licensed gun in this case was not used which is proof enough that Salman did not do anything wrong.Great, as if salman should use his own gun to kill a Chinkara. Okay it was Salaman's car in that accident case then why was he acquitted? In both the cases his drivers came to his rescue.
