Anyhow, The main reason for Kashmir problem is Pakistan.First and foremost aspect to be taken care of is Pakistan's hostilities. India should show Pakistan what it is capable of.

True. Some state Governments conduct regular unannounced visits to the Government offices. Of course IT is another factor that contributed a lot in checking corruption.

Far too long Kashmir issue has been debated. It has only created more groups to debate. It is now time for concrete action. Otherwise Kashmir will bleed and bleed India also for a long time to come.

It is because Indian society is far more heterogeneous than homogeneous and the caste system which makes persons speak in different voices.

At a very young age, I had seen the Movie Shabab, starring Bharat Bhushan and Nutan in the lead roles. Naushad composed Music. Rafi's song Mehalon Me Rahane Wale was the only song I liked. But there are many memorable songs sung by Manna Dey, Hemant Kumar and the well known classical singer Amir Khan. The reason for my liking only Rafi's song was, I could not understand the classical and semi classical nuances at that young age.

If the right values are taught and get inculcated at the early stages it remains unadulterated to a large extent no matter what the circumstances are ...It is only a few who are on the borderline that get swept away by such influences ..

Support for Salman Khans screen presence and whatever else fans feel is fine and understandable but what is far more dangerous is the feeling that he being such a big star should be let off because his life style demands that he party during late hours and get drunk and loses control which is all fine in his position ...This is exactly what a student had to say, and the fault lies with people who sleep on the pavement not Salman's car that climbed the pavement and hit them. The same mindset as seen in the case of Jayalalitha and her supporters and other political leaders who have all been accused of various legal and criminal activities .. The message is as long as you have power and money you need not fear anything because you can get away from just about anything !
It is truth that person who have power and money can do what they want. It is their attitude that what we are saying is true and what we are doing is right.
It also reflects on our society and its don't care attitude.If people are united in their fight against justice and lend support a lot can be achieved. As of now we have womens group that speak in different voices rather than have one agenda of fighting for equality and justice.I have seen these groups actually making matters worse by their insensitive remarks. It is the same with other NGOs too who remain largely selfish and look after their own personal interests ..

Long ago, when there were no channels apart from Doordarshan, a serial used to shown (I don't remember the name). Short stories of one or two episodes based on Premchand's stories were shown in that serial. Stories such as Bade Ghar Ki Bahu, Usne Kaha Tha and many more.
Kalayni , the old film Usne Kaha tha is probably made from his story..I have seen it and it is a very touching and beautiful film , which also had excellent musical score by Salil Choudhury ! I remember some old short serials lasting just 3 or episodes made by DD on life and relationships which were really good..
