Introduction:
Mother in English, Maa in Bengali language, is a name who has endless love for children. We can feel her presence from birth. Mother is the first relation which can never be replaced by anyone. We can not weight the love of mother. Father has contribution for a child’s birth. But Mother conceive and carriers the baby in her womb for more than nine months. Then suffers the pain of birth and sacrifices many nights without sleeping and feeds her breast milk to a new born baby. So it is said that every debt is repayable but mother’s debt is not repayable as it can not be measured.
No woman can take the place of mother. After marriage one another woman comes in life as wife, but that relation bears another meaning and respect, and this relation can not be comparable with mother. A mother can do anything and can sacrifice anything for her child. Sometimes we get misunderstand after marriage and forced her to go a old age home, but still then she wants the betterment of her child. So a child should have some responsibilities to their mother. A mother always stands besides her child in need , so a child should always give her due respect .
Here are some points to strengthen the child and mother relationship:
- Communication is the main thing for any relationship. Mother keeps all time communication in childhood. Thus a child should keep communication with mother always.
- Listening to her is also a main point. A mother listens to all the words that her child says. Thus a child should also listen to the advices and suggestions that his/her mother gives. We should realize that whatever a mother says is only for the benefit of her child.
- Our children follow us. So they are watching our behavior towards our mother. You should set up an example in front of children, so that they can obey and respect you also as role model.
- Every child should give all necessities of mother as to a Mother, Son and daughter is same.
Now different role of Mother:
A woman plays many roles in her life time. In childhood she is a daughter of somebody’s, then wife of somebody’s, and then the role of mother comes and finally comes the grand mother’s role. Out of so many roles mother’s role is the best and important role. She carries the child in her womb and after suffering so many pains she gives a birth of a child. To a child a mother becomes their first friend even in childhood a child learns all the basic things from a mother. Thus a mother also protects her child from any bad things.
Some duties of mother;
Love is good but too much overlooking is bad for a child. A mother should be soft as well as tough also and should look after so that her child does not do any mistake and misbehave with others. Other wise it would be a habit later. Don’t give any hard punishment but show your eyes to your child. Mother is called the first teacher of a child. So what he/she can learn from his/her mother , acts same in future.
Some duties of child:
A child should act as a pillar of mother’s life in her need. So in every society the place of mother is too much honorable. Mother will become aged after few years and this period is very much important. This time a mother need more support from her child as somehow they feels insecure in life. We should take care of her in every moment. In Indian culture mother wants to go to pilgrimage in old age. It is also our duty to fulfill the wishes of mother.
Sometimes grand mother also wants to get her grand children closer to her. The relationship between a grand mother and her grand children is also remarkable. In other hand children also love to hear stories from grandmother. She also guides them to be a good person in future. She finds her son’s childhood in the eyes of her grand children. Thus her life is ended.
So remember,” We find our mother after opening our eyes first, So she also deserve to see her child before closing her eyes last.”
Now, at last one self written poem about mother.
Since childhood, you are in my touch
From the moment of my birth.
You are my world and ideal in every path.
You have protected and showed me the right way
You are my dear Maa.
You are my guide, alaways remaning by my side;
I feel sad in your absence,
But get power when you keep your hand on my hand.
