Thylacine is also known as Thylacinus cynocephalus. There is a surprising fact related to this species is that this is also known as Tasmanian wolf or Tasmanian Tiger. Actually this species is neither a tiger nor a wolf. This species are belonging from Australia. It is one of the largest or biggest marsupial carnivorous on our earth. The word Tasmanian is used with this species because we find a stripe on the body of this species as similar in the body of Tiger found in Tasmania or it just resemble that it belong from the Tasmanian wolf family species. This species is found on the Tasmania Islands along years ago that was about 2,000 years. This species totally disappear at the beginning of the 19th century. There are several reasons that are responsible for the disappearing of this Thylacine Species. Some of the reasons such as Too much killing from Farmers, killing by hunters, They lose their living environment as well as because of human being disturbed in their living environment. This all reason brings this Thylacine species to the path of extinction. The complete extinction of this species occurs in the year 1936, a Thylacine species died in zoo located in Tasmania. The last Thylacine species are being hunted during the year 1930 by a Tasmania farmer. This all say our record book.
2. Steller's Sea Cow
This Steller's is also known as Hydrodamalis Gigas. This is a belong from a Water herbivorous mammal. A time when this species found in large number around the area of the North Pacific ocean. Its name is kept in the name of a german zoologist Georg Wilhelm Steller because he is the first who give description about this species. This species is larger than is relatively species such as Manatee and Dugong. The length of this Steller Sea Cow is about 28 ft. This is really large. The large size of this species becomes its enemy because people start hunting this species in search of food as well as their skin and mostly for their subcutaneous fat. The life span of this Steller Sea Cow is very less on our earth. They survive only for the period of three Decades. In the year 1758 the last time this species is seen on our earth before extinction.
3. Quagga
The Quagga is also known as Equus Quagga Quagga. This Quagga belong from the family of the plains zebra. This species mostly found in a large plain area of the cape province of a country like South Africa. When we compare it to modern period zebra it is quite different from this zebra. The body of this species has a stripe only around the front part of the body. When looking at the at back part of this species you cannot find any kind of stripe on the body of this species. The ancient age farmer thinks that species as a pest because they eat all types of grasses that is used by the farmer to feed their cattle. So they start killing this species in a large number. Other extinction reason is that this species is being hunted because of their meat as well as their skin which is used by the people in leather Industry. Hunters from Europe and North America look this species as a hunting animal and they make it as a game to hunt this species in a large number. This all reason is responsible for their extinction. The total extinction of this species occurs with the death of last Quagga in Zoo located in Amsterdam around 1883.
4. Woolly Rhino
The woolly Rhino also knows as a Coelodonta antiquitatis. This animal is belong from Rhino species. This species is mostly found during the Pleistocene epoch in the Eurasian steppes. This species is known because of its typical thick coat that has a two different types of hair. There are several reasons that are responsible for its extinction but the most important and powerful reason is that this species is hunted on a large basis by the Neanderthal man. There is a prediction that the extinction of this species along with all other species of Pleistocene megafauna is occurring because they cannot make their body adjust to the changing climatic condition. From the fossils our researchers say that this species remain on our planet until 8000 BC and after that they Extinct.
5. Caspian Tiger
This Caspian tiger is also known as Panthera Tigris Virgata. This Caspian tiger belongs to species tiger. This species of tiger mostly found in Central Asia as well as Western Asia. The Extinction of this animal takes place around 1950. This Caspian Tiger is characteristic of one of the recently disappearing carnivorous. You may easily find the name of the Caspian Tiger in the chart of animals that is disappearing after the year 1900s. This species extinct because human beings want development. It is one of the examples of such development. 6. Irish Elk
The Irish Link is also known as Megaloceros giganteus. This Irish Elk belong the species of deer. This Species of animal inhabited during the last Pleistocene epoch. It is mostly found in the plain of Eurasia. As the name suggested "IRISH ELK" and its habitat boundary began from West of Ireland to the East of Russia. It is an extinct species. Its name suggests because most of the Skeleton of this species is collected from the country Ireland. That's why its name is Irish Elk. According to our record book the largest species of deer is still found on our planet that is Debatable, Irish Elk was referred as an animal that has a larger antlers among all deer species. The most popular reason for the extinction of this Irish Elk is they cannot adjust themselves in the changing climatic condition. That leads them to extinction.
