Most of us have a habit of being inquisitive. Being inquisitive is good if it is in our well being or in the well being of people whom we are associated with. However in more cases we are become inquisitive for the wrong reasons and the most common way of being inquisitive is peeping into lives of others around us. The most common ways of peeping into other lives are:-
Peeping into a PC: It begins at our workplace. Very often we want to know what our colleagues are typing. Whether somebody is chatting with a girl, or viewing a social networking site we are interested. It could also be that the person is sharing his happiness with a beloved family members or could be sorting out a problem with them. Yet we want to know what that person is typing and to whom and disclose it to others though we have nothing to gain from it. We tend to derive fun by discussing with others on a issue which is very personal.
Observing a couple:- Another common area of interest, observing a couple in your neighbourhood, and discussing their problems with other neighbours. The point of observation would definitely be, whether the couples do get along well and if they do not then it becomes a topic for time pass with neighbours. Needless to say the usual expectation of the couple from others is a problem between them
Office Affairs:- Observation of a closessness between colleagues between opposite genders is a good way of spending time. More time is spent on discussing about them, whether or not they have an affair. People take great pride in these sort of discussions.
These things do not have any relevance in our lives but still we consider them as part and parcel of our lives. We seem to take great pride in other's problems than our own happiness. We always tend to forget like how we observe others and make fun of them, it happens with us also, as there are bound to be people who observe us and make fun of us.
Let us stop peeping into their lives to make their lives and our lives happier.
