Candice Bergen,is an American actor and photojournalist,and she is best known for portraying the title character in the television situation comedy “Murphy Brown".She was Born in Beverly Hills, California, to ventriloquist Edgar Bergen and fashion model Frances Westerman Bergen,on May 9 ,1946.
She appeared on her father's radio program,when she was introduced to show business in 1952 . She begin to hae her higher education at the University of Pennsylvania in 1963, but she left two years so as to begin a career as a fashion model in New York City.
