NATURAL ALTERNATIVE FOR COMMON DISEASES
The newest medicines or the allopathic medicines has been targeting the kids as their body is not able to tolerate the drugs and medicatons. As a result most of the parents are approaching for the natural remedies so that they can avoid the side effects of drugs.
The children has different metabolism that the adults and thats the reason they are immediately affected the overdose of medicines.It is necessary to relieve your child from the suffering but remember if the complaints are not serious you can try few of the natural remedies along with the physician's treatment.
Following are the common diseases kids suffer and the home remedies
1) FEVER- There is no need to immediately treat the mild or low grade fever because it is the body's reaction to fight against the infection.
You can give tapid bath and cold cloth on the forehead. This method will reduce the fever. If the fever still persist for 2days then visit the physician to rule out the cause of fever.
2) TEETH PAIN- It is commonly seen in child of 5-7 years. The physician will prescribe your child strong painkiller which may have serious side-effects. So why not to try the natural remedy like cloves? It is seen that cloves contain Eugenol which acts as natural pain killer. You can give a drop of clove oil with honey and rub on the gums or painful part. It will relieve the tooth pain.
3) COLD AND COUGH - Almost every child suffer from cold and cough. Apply menthol vapor rub or tee tree oil on the child's feet and then cover the feet. Also let your child inhale these vapor rub for 1-2 mins three times a day. It will reduce the nasal congestion and cough.
4) DIARRHOEA- Diarrhoea is common in kids due to eating contaminated food, personal unhygiene, etc. You can give your child plenty of fluids, yogurt, bananas and rice with ghee.Remember when a child suffers from diarrhoea do not stop feeding him.Give him required quantity of fluid so that he wont get dehydrated.
5) CONSTIPATION- Constipation occurs due to less amount of fibre in the diet.Give your child leafy green vegetable atleast once a day.Fruits like peaches, plums, pears,fruits containing vitamin C helps to reduce the constipation. Do not give large quantity of apple as it may cause more constipation.
