Rice – 2 cups
White gram – 1 cup
Green gram – 1/2cup
Red gram – ½ cup
Green chilies – 2
Onions – 3
Tomato – 2
Chopped carrot -1 cup
Boiled green peas – 11/2cup
Chopped boiled beans – 10
Salt – according to the taste
Oil- 1/2cup
Process – Soak rice, white grams, green gram, red gram in water, then grind them before day. Take a bowl, heat 3 spoons of oil in it. Now add green chilies, onions and fry them. After few minutes add tomato, beans, peas and mix them. Now add salt, chili powder , mix them thoroughly, now off the flame. Mix this mixture in all grams grinded mixture which we prepared before day and kept aside. After half an hour, place a pan on the stove. Add some oil, after getting heated drop the mixture on the pan and fry it on both sides. Therefore the Vuthappam is ready. This very healthy food. Mostly children show more interest to have it. As all vegetable are included, it contain more vitamins, proteins and it is a nutritious contain. It doesn’t take more time to prepare, just within half an hour this item can be prepared. We just need to prepare and store the grams and rice grinded mixture. If you want you can add more vegetables. I hope you all like this.
