Exercise is the most important part of the life for better health for better living.
There are different types of exercises like running, walking, jogging, gym and cycling. Among all these let us consider cycling and how it is good for fitness.
There are several advantages of cycling over other exercises.
Firstly, cycling exercises the heart better than any other exercise hence it’s a good cardio exercise.
Cardio exercises are the one which makes the heart health with better blood pressure. Secondly, one can ride a cycle almost any where and at any point of time without almost any cost.
Thirdly, little or no time is lost during the process because it can be used for travelling to work or any place required, Finally, commuting by cycle also reduces a greater chance of pollution for the environment and also the commuter using cycle is less exposed to smoke and other pollution when compared to other motorists.
Cycling does have some flaws which are greatly being exaggerated by fear mongers.
Cycling has a risk of injury which is actually similar to the risk of travelling by automobiles. But British medical association states that advantages of cycling are lot more than disadvantages which is twenty is to one
. Therefore, we can say that advantages of cycling are more and it should be followed by everyone who wants to lead a fit life.
