After a long 2 weeks I finally watched the epi today!! and it was something Unbelievable!! Ridzi was TOOO BEST today!!.

The scenes in the operation theater was really very good!! Ridzi & Sid's courage giving to that baby Tamanna(!) was really very good..that lil girl Tamanna acted really very well.

Then..Ridzi knows abt the truth..Her acting in front of Devota..when she was praying that was outstanding....too good!!

In BB court the acting with Shashank was reaffly very fine also..here I felt she showed some overacting..but ovarall it was great!!

But I have some confusions abt this incident!! at first they showed that, Shashank told Armaan to leave Sanjeevani, from Ridzi's life..now they showed that it was Armaan's decision not to get involved in Ridzi's life..Armaan did it intentionally..And he told Shashank to tell the false to Ridzi..thn actually what is Shashank's fault here?? he did it bcoz Armaan wanted to do it..by the sake of his love to Ridzi!!

And I felt Ridzi reacted very much today!! I felt crying for her!! the way she acted..but while talking with Shashank..once Ridzi said,

"She told papa agar aap mujhe ye nahin batayengey ki armaan kaha hain tho phir mein apne aap ko maar daloongi!!...."..

Whatver the situation is..A daughter can't tell it to her father..

And finally she did a crime actually..she showed before that, she always obeys to her father..when Armaan was in hunger strike..she dint even open the window bcoz of her father's order..now HOW did she say,

"YOu proved that u r not my father!!"
HOW??!!.

Whatever the epi was really great also bcoz "Ishaq Leta Hain" was played!!...overall waiting for the next epi..Now Sid is going to help Shashank!!....

4th December 08 updates

Recap: Mayank is annoyed with nupur for the whole project thing, gunjan consoles nupur by saying that what will happen to the talent parade, meanwhile Annie provokes dia by saying that its gunjan fault etc and she should get revenge on her.

The scene starts with Gunjan and Nupur talking!!!

Gunjan and Nupur enters the scene and they are carrying boxes of costumes. Nupur says to Gunjan: not to be scared and you practiced so much for it and for your support, you have samrat . Gunjan says that she is all right and says that she should speak to Mayank for the last time. Nupur says that she spoke to him last night and doesn’t want to speak to him.

Next scene: Mayank and CJ

Mayank says i will not trust anyone, CJ says tum nupur ko dost mante ho [sorry
my Hindi is really weak], Mayank says i used to think nupur was my friend.

Next scene: Gunjan and Nupur
.
Nupur is still worried about the talent parade and says to Gunjan the way he spoke to me, he will never speak to me again. Gunjan says that mayank is never like this, Nupur says that’s what i thought but the way he spoke to me, i will never speak to him
.
Next scene: Mayank and CJ
.
CJ says that see what Nupur has to say and for the dance parade there is little time left and after all she is your dance partner. Mayank is still being stubborn, he says i was her dance partner and she should do the project. [enough with the project and go to your future wife].
CJ says that dance and project are different and i agree that what Nupur did was wrong but not going to the dance, your not doing the right thing. Mayank becomes silence and CJ goes away. [CJ such a good friend to Mayank and Nupur]

Next scene: Gunjan and Nupur enter

Nupur says that i don’t know what will happen when i go on stage but i have to do something, Gunjan says that this is a couple dance and Dia didn’t even let you do the dance on your own and this is the main event. Nupur says then what should i do gunjan
Gunjan says speak to Mayank for the last time. [sorry missed the last lines]

Next scene: Dia

Dia enters in a gold dress, she picks up a note from the flowers and starts reading it
and then she pulls something and red flowers fall on top of her. and then reads I LOVE YOU note. she sees Uday and shouts DODO. she slaps dodo on the cheek and walks away [Poor Uday]

Next scene: Gunjan and Nupur getting ready

Gunjan is helping Nupur getting ready. [Both sisters are looking so nice ]. while samrat enters from the curtains and says chashmish to gunjan [Finally we hear the word chashmish]. Gunjan gets a shock and accidently pokes Nupur with a needle, Gunjan goes to Samrat and closes the curtains so Samrat can't be seen.
Gunjan says to Samrat, we are getting ready now, so come back later but Nupur says we are ready, so you can come in. Samrat comes in ask Nupur where is Gunjan when Gunjan says, I’m right here.
Samrat looks at her dress and says i didn’t recognize you and says you are looking really nice [i sooo loved the compliment, he gave her ] Nupur starts to go when Samrat says have you kept a silence fast

THEY INTRODUCE THE TALENT PARADE
MS AHA IS THE PRESENTER
EVERYONE IS GETTING READY
Dia enters and says that after the solo dancers, it will be the couples
she then lists the couple, mayur are second.
Annie enters, talks about something and goes off

Ms aha does her speech
Gunjan looks for Nupur, Nupur is worried but is proud that Gunjan will sing
for the first time.
MS Aha welcomes the first performance - Samrat
Nupur says Gunjan its your hero ka performance [loved it when she said that]
and both went off to see it.

SAMRAT PERFORMANCE ON THE FILM: BACHEO AUR HASEENO [I just loved
his dance...watched it soooo many times]
The performance ends and Samrat looks at Gunjan clapping and smiles
Dia sees this and says that Gunjan won’t be able to perform and ends there.

8th December

Samrat teases Gunjan a bit after the performance and gives her little pep talks. Dia gets Samrat to stay and watch a performance with her. In the meantime, Annie gives Gunjan a bunch of clothes to take into some room and then locks her up there. Nupur is worried because Mayank isn't there and now suddenly they're supposed to be the first couple dance.

However, it turns out that Mayank is already there. Nupur is happy because she thinks he has forgiven her, but unfortunately is proven wrong. Samrat wants to go see Gunjan because he promised her he'd see her once before the performance, but Dia begs him to stay because he's spending SO much time with Gunjan nowadays. They strike a bet on how well Mayank will dance, with Samrat thinking he'll do good and Dia thinking he'll make a fool of himself. Mayank and Nupur dance, very passionate, very nice, audience loves it.

Nupur accidentally kisses him on the cheek and that's why he pushes her away all of a sudden. He's treating her kind of roughly. Dance ends, and they're staring at each other. Nupur unconsciously puts her arms around his neck.

December 2nd

Samrat teases Gunjan again about the whole date thing.

Nupur tries to give Mayank the letter, but he keeps stopping her short and questioning her about the project... of course, she doesn't know the answers, just like he expected. He then asks her what the reference is for one of the quotes she used, she doesn't know, and so he lets her off knowing fully well that she doesn't know it. He refuses to read the letter until she tells him the reference.

Samrat shows Gunjan this little booth-like thing, about the size of a medium bathroom stall, with cloth coverings on all sides and a mike in the middle. He says she can sing there, etc.. etc... Gunjan thanks him and he grips her shoulders while encouraging her, cute moment, but Annie sees all of this.

Dia is happy that Samrat sent her flowers that day. Annie tells her about Sajan. Dia dismisses this. It's revealed that Uday faked the gift today and the mirror "Samrat" sent her yesterday so his cover is not blown. But of course, neither Samrat nor Dia know the truth about the nonexistent surprise.

Nupur in the library looking up the reference, she finally finds it, but Mayank sees her. Later in an empty classroom, the final confrontation occurs. Mayank is MAD and he is like a tiger on the attack, not giving Nupur a single chance. Finally, she bursts into tears and admits. Lots of Mayank's shouting and Nupur's crying, Mayank leaves in a storm.

Nupur is sad, Gunjan comforts her and tells her to call Mayank, but he doesn't listen. He is MAD. And it looks like he'll stay mad. BIG problems. Watch this episode on the video updates if you have to... can't miss the Mayur scenes.

December 3rd

Nupur hopes that Mayank will phone her, but he doesn't. She confides in Gunjan and decides to just hope for the best and don't lose faith. Samrat calls Gunjan and wishes her best of luck, tells her to imagine yellow underwear if she gets nervous, and teases her sweetly. Dia sees Gunjan talking to Samrat and asks to talk to him, and of course she hints at the surprise. Nupur is thinking about what will happen at the talent parade tomorrow... Mayank is thinking the same. Doesn't look like they'll end up dancing together at this rate. Next day is the day of the talent parade, and everyone is busy preparing for the big night. Uday tells Samrat about the whole surprise thing, and Samrat gets mad at him. Benji and Samrat trick Uday into taking responsibility for this problem and go away. Uday runs after them. Dia has overheard all of this and feels angry, heartbroken, and betrayed. She confides in Annie, and she makes Dia realize that Gunjan is the reason why Samrat isn't interested in Dia anymore. They both plan revenge.

December 4th

Nupur is worried about how the performance will go and if Mayank will come or not, but she tries to mask this by acting like Gunjan is the one who needs support. Gunjan is not fooled and tells her to go talk to Mayank so she doesn't have to dance alone. CJ tries to convince Mayank that just leaving Nupur like that without a dance partner, after having given his word, is not good. Final preparations are made for the talent show and Dia and Annie are looking out for Gunjan... based off the promo, I think they're going to lock up Gunjan. Anyways. So, talent show begins, everyone's filing in, and Samrat is the first performance. He goes to flirt with Gunjan a bit and finds her in the make-up room. Teases her a bit, teases Nupur about how Mayank is always one who surprises and you never know with him. Nupur tries to tell him about what happened, but he keeps cutting in, and finally he leaves. But first Gunjan wishes him best of luck. Dia scolds Nupur for not having her dance partner with her. But then, show begins. Ms. Aha is the emcee, and Samrat's Bachna Ae Haseeno dance is first. But from behind the wings, Gunjan comes to watch. She gets scared when she hears all the cheers from behind the curtain... sounds like there's a huge crowd. Samrat is spellbound by the sight of her and reassures her with eye language. For a moment or two... he can't keep his eyes off of her. Dia sees this.

And then the dance is on!

After the dance, the curtain falls again, and Samrat is spellbound once more by the sight of Gunjan smiling prettily and clapping quietly for him. Dia is MAD and swears that Gunjan won't be performing.

3rd nov update..

Ok, so the episode  wasn't as bad as I expected.....*reminds self to keep expectations rock bottom in the future*....Nupur's "hoye" nautanki saved it for me

Things I liked:

Mayank's Mom+Nupur=Dhaansu jodi: Loved the scene b/w them! Mayank's mom is just such a cool lady! And their interaction was adorable......thankfully not too heavy on the "Haaye meri future bahu....looking so sundar blah blah".....Nupur preening in front of the mirror and getting caught by the Mom (ok, what's her name?? I'm tiring of having to type M ki mummy)....adorable! And then later when she drifts off into her little side chatter about how she picked her diwali outfit and the amused look M's mom gives her.....cute!

Mayank's scene with his Mom: This one's a recurring favorite in my 'musings'....so no shockers here, folks!....Despite knowing that I had "Naadaman" in store further in the episode.....I really enjoyed this scene....especially the way his Mom tries to tickle him awake (My mom does that too) and then the way he wishes her Happy Diwali and tries to go back to sleep....I'd never have thought that otherwise insomniac staying awake till late in the night to do his schoolwork Mayank sleeps till 12:30 on a day off.....Hawwwww, Mayank the slacker!

Diya's outfit: Navina looked gorgeous

The sarcastic Chaachu: I'd forgotten he almost existed! Had to do a double take and try to place him for a bit.....Liked how he replied to Diya's "Are you all going to a wedding?" comment

Samrat-Gunjan scene: Sammy boy was understated....just the way I like him! and Gunjan was cute with her "This isn't how you celebrate Diwali" innocent question.....the pre-cap scene was sweet as well.

Special comment on THE Naada scene:

Ok, so I'll be honest and admit that it wasn't AS horrifying as I'd built it up to be in my head.....Still not exactly Mayank's finest moment.....especially the bit where he mutters to Nups, "You're looking good" AS he clutches the naada....and god, the "Maa, naada nahin/Pyjama girne nahin diya".....had me cringing..Mayank, Mayank, Mayank....*sigh*....Will the real Mayank please stand up? Where is the Mayank of 'the eyebrow love" as defined by Nimmi? Where is the Mayank of the beach convo scene? Where is the Mayank of "thoda zyada ho gaya"? Where is the Mayank of the 'bonked' scene? Where is the Mayank of "sochna ghutnon ke liye accha hota hai"?? Where, Where, Where?? *sigh*

Thing that left me:

Why the hell were they using Rati's body doubles for her scenes?? First the rangoli scene in the beginning, then the phone scene and even in the pre-cap scene with Mayank.....This show is barely a month and a half old and ALREADY they're using body doubles??....That's something that just really irritates me....takes away from any scene that they are used in.
